I gotta love how now I see imperfections such as NOT EVEN 30 SECONDS IN, you can see a dude walking and his feet clipping through the floor with an odd walk cycle. Don’t care, I love this movie anyway. Perfect thing for the season as is
In the first shot of the cat costume girl she looks at her wrist despite not having a watch. The funny thing is that this is either a huge oversight or a super subtle detail. Because looking at your bare wrist when you’re impatient, purely since you’ve seen adults who have watches do that when they’re waiting, is such a kid thing to do, and I was definitely guilty of it myself back in the day. It’s probably a mistake, but it just adds to how nostalgic I am for this movie.
You know what, this movie STILL holds up in terms of character writing and voice acting, maybe not so in terms of animation but otherwise it still is fun to watch and i'd watch a remake.

I know a lot of people complain about the animation but I really like it. Sure, CGI wasn't great during this time, but artistic choices were made, and they did a great job trying to bring the pages of the story books to life.

When your writing is generally decent and fun like this. It pulls you in enough to ignore the animation mistakes. Loved this movie as a kid. Wish channels and cartoons did more halloween, christmas, hannukah, thanksgiving specials like they used to. It made that time of the year when cartoon network, nickelodeon, and disney would suddenly change for autumn. It really set a tone for ya as a kid.
I don't care what anyone says, the animation is great and the voice acting is even more phenomenal! The nostalgia puts it over the top. It's now a tradition to have my kid watch this with me every Halloween ❤

This one English/drama teacher at my high school was pretty much a human version of Harry. Same body type as him, as much of a theatre person as him, he even *sounded* like him with his voice and mannerisms! Idk if he as was much of a foodie like Harry is, but other than that he was basically him.

Oh my gosh I remember watching this with my toddler sibling when I was a teenager, I remember getting sick of watching this but my little baby sibling loved it and I ended up loving it too while I watched it with them, takes me back
