Nothing rubs me the wrong way than how pumpkin rabbit and witch sheep uses the dead children as a way to lure the other children they are preying for. It's sickening to know they desecrate their corpses like that for their own benefit. Amazing work as usual, Martin!
@@mrsurge4789no I think they are using the kids spirits or smth like that. Because they were able to harm Rachel and Lorenzo after the book was burned.
I just love the way Martin is getting better at direction, this looks so smooth and cinematographic. Angles, dialogue, pacing, SOUNDS.. man this is an absolute horror movie
I remember how he used to rely just in jumpscares to build tension, but this is next level. All I will say is that the ending is a bit weak, but everything else is cinema.
when i noticed the flash at 2:59 i didn't think much of it and assumed it was apart of the screen , then later in the video they revealed the photo of the kids outside and my jaw immediately dropped and I remember back at that moment. Great work from Martin!
28:51 I love how the pumpkin rabbit got the taste of his own medicine when the children were holding the photo album hostage. Just like what he with the Ball
I love how the kids look and move like they're puppets from a childrens show, it's a great contrast to just how grizzly and gut wrenching their surroundings are.
I feel so bad for Jay, as there’s probably a crap ton of survival’s guilt that comes with being the one that brought them there, even when they didn’t really want to, and yet ended up also being one of the few who survived. In my head I hope that through Jay, the victims’ stories can be told, and the families of all the children will finally have some form of closure. At least the kids have each other in the end, both the alive and the dead ones.
it is really sad. if you look back you’ll see that Ralph’s last interactions with the others was them picking on him for being scared, and poco’s last interaction with jay was calling her an idiot. not how i’d like to say bye to my friends/siblings. but if anything jay certainly proved she was indeed the toughest kid in town.
from how the house looks during the day as the cops find jay and dino, it seems that any evidence of the childrens' corpses/pumpkin rabbit + witch sheeps' persistence with life are hidden and are only revealed/able to interact with the real world and vice versa on halloween night (which makes sense as all hallow's eve is considered a time when the veil between the living and spirit worlds thin). jay burned the book to get them (hopefully) permanently killed, so her and dino are the only ones with the biggest amount of knowledge on the killings left between seeing the corpses themselves and the two of them having seen the book...and the implication is that dino's autistic to the point that he only communicates through echolalia, so that leaves jay as the sole witness who's directly seen what the cops couldn't find and can tell people about it.
oh, dino only repeating what his friends (or siblings?) say really hits home for me. as a person with an autistic twin brother who repeats phrases, i was immediately afraid for his safety, especially when he grabbed the Witch Sheep's book.
The moment Ralph voiced any objections, I would have calmly taken Dino’s hand, concurred, and proposed that we go trick-or-treating somewhere more welcoming than the Waterman house, with Paco, Ralph, and Jay as well. I would have made every effort to rally everyone to join Paco and me in seeking a different location. Hearing Ralph sound so hesitant and frightened would have sealed the deal for me. Instant older brother mode activated.
Exactly how I felt throughout the entire video. As someone who also as an autistic sibling (younger sister) who innocently repeats phrases, the waterworks really got going 🥲
The witch sheep scared the shit out of me. She isn’t manic and giggly like the pumpkin rabbit, who’s horror comes from his sadism towards killing and mauling children. Witch sheep is quiet and apathetic, uncaring and cruel. She kills quietly, aids in getting the children killed by the bloody hands of her husband, she may not usually be the one who actually kills ( the cat with black stripes and orange fur being an off screen kill done by her is an exception ) but she’s no less evil. She doesn’t do this out of being forced by an evil man, she’s just as uncaring, just as cruel, she’s just quieter about it… Really wonderful work, Walten. Such a great movie. ( the replies are full of either nice people or really irritating people who think a vulgar joke is funny by default. I’ve seen the joke more than a dozen times shut. the fuck up. I don’t give a shit that you find witch sheep attractive, you’re not quirky and edgy, you’re annoying. )
Whenever I watch a piece of horror media, I always root for ONE character to do the right thing. We KNOW by now you don't investigate spooky houses, you don't talk to strangers, and you don't approach threatening people. To see a character obey these rules to a T and STILL die is TERRIFYING. Thank you, Walten FIles!!! You are delivering these spooks hot and fresh this Halloween
He still stayed by the abandoned house, alone, at night. And he trespassed into the back yard. And he approached the creepy stranger. That's three broken rules.
15:26 I'm gonna be honest, I genuinely think Rachel is a better villain than Lorenzo now. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see her actually being evil in The Mysterious House, but here, we get to see her in all her sadistic, sociopathic glory. The fact you can literally hear Paco beg her to stop, yet she continues after no more than 5 seconds of silence is horrifying. And the end, GOD THE END. No gore, no jumpscares, no loud noises, nothing. Just a single frame of her standing directly behind Paco. Chilling.
you do actually see her in the original, though i aswell didn’t notice it until i rewatched it recently. just like in this one she’s in the back slowly approaching Tammy from behind while she searches for Duckie, cutting off her escape.
The fact that they changed the old animation style and they adapted it to the new one really improves this. The dog being chased by the pumpkin rabbit was so beautiful, the animation gave that crooked expression to the rabbit. Well done martin, like always.
I think the design choice was thought of to make the children feel more tiny and innocent, which also makes the contrast of (mostly dogboy) getting his face torn in two with eerily realistic detail. Also it emphasizes how big of a difference the murderous duet of pumpkin rabbit and witch sheep. With them looking a lot more disturbing given how they really don’t have anything to hide now that they have become legend.
@@jewelry7532 that is a fair point, but I think the lack of expression could have been done to create a more uneasy atmosphere compared to the former(which, while still horrifying on its own, feels more safe overall up until the night strikes)
To be completely honest, no horror movie or show has EVER made me feel this scared and unsettled and a huge surge of emotions as this 30 minute long video has. The way the art and animation looks. And the pacing and voice acting and sound effects. All of it is really well put together and I love it so much but also terrified at the same time. It also really makes you feel for the kids and it just makes me incredibly sad. I feel so bad for them and the past victims but I’m happy that they got some type of revenge. Something about them luring the kids around with the dead bodies of their friends and or past victims is just so utterly disturbing and genuinely makes me not want to sleep at night. But overall it’s a really good video and I’ve loved Martin’s work for years now and have just started getting back into them and am so happy about that.
Also THE SCREAMS are by far one of the most scary and unsettling things (for me) about this. It just feels so real and like you can feel the kids fear. And not just that it’s the whole fact that none of the kids have mouths or facial expressions yet you can still see the anxiety and fear which is another reason why I like this so much.
I liked the brief foreshadowing of the kids' survival via their photo that showed the two victims faces (Ralph and Paco), but not Dino and Jay's since they survived.
The pumpkin rabbit asking the dog to open the door and then when she shuts it on him he opens the door anyway shows that he’s just killing these kids for fun/sport
I love the detail on how they have lived in fear for YEARS. It shows it because in 29:27 he starts screaming immediately because he knows that its over for him. But besides that you did a awesome job! I watched this alone and i heard whispers in my ear when i tried to sleep. This film gave me extreme insomnia, that just shows how great it is! If it is so scary that it could take a toll on someones mental health its gotta be the scariest animated horror film on youtube! Nice job martin!!
29:23 I think it's a great little detail that the Watermans' last words are "What have you done!?" It's a nice callback to the last words spoken by the Pumpkin Rabbit at the end of The Mysterious House. It really gives it the perfect ending for a perfect series.
@Mikeisprogame Yeah, you're right, but the phrase: "What have you done?" is said twice in the ending there. The first one is said by Tammy (the purple wolf) when she sees the childrens' corpses, but the second one is said at the very end when the Pumpkin Rabbit lunges at Tammy. I think it's sort of the consensus of the community that the Pumpkin Rabbit says this second one; he is able to mimic voices, like he did with Ducky luring Tammy, and I think that most people believe that he repeats: "What have you done?" when attacking Tammy to mock her in a way. That last part is mainly speculation, though: it really could be either Tammy or the Pumpkin Rabbit that says the last one, but I believe that it's the Pumpkin Rabbit. Either way, I think it's still a brilliant addition by the brilliant Mr. Walls.
@@mr.mortisman7942 I hadn't seen it as mocking but more of him practicing the voice, parroting the last phrase he heard from her so he could make sure he had gotten it right.
@Nyehlord That's a nice theory! It's certainly plausible, and it would fit quite well with the timeline of events after the Mysterious House, too: the Watermans were expecting to see more children next Halloween, and that's when they would have used Tammy's voice to lure those future children, just like they used Ducky's voice to lure Paco, but the Watermans were "killed" before the next Halloween came. That's probably why they killed Billy and TVA, too: they had gone so long without their hunt that they just couldn't resist slaughtering the pair that lived with them, especially since the Watermans probably meant to kill them at some point but just didn't do it for one reason or another. Great idea!
@@mr.mortisman7942 The Pumpkin Rabbit repeating "What have you done?!" to Tammy was a way to mock her before death. However The Pumpkin Rabbit + Witch Sheep saying "What have you done?!" to our new protags was done out of genuine fear. Another Yellow Rabbit would say "Symmetry, my friend!"
i really like how his voice seems more un-friendly and fake because he isn’t really trying to keep up a friendly facade, he knows that the children know what he’s done and is killing them all for sport.
The part where the poor dog in a Batman costume got his face mauled in cold blood by a hulking Pumpkin Rabbit is brutal. Even wearing a Batman costume doesn't give him plot armor.
The part at 16:59 is perfect I’m sorry No jumpscares, no loud noises, no gore, nothing. Just one still frame and you already know exactly what the hell just happened
it's pretty much like the lighter scene with Sophie and bon in the sleepover episode but without the jumpscare sound which i prefer not to be there tbh
@mourningcttlfsh Same! I was singing the "You Are Dead" song when I saw the dad just to detach myself from these characters because I was sure the Pumpkin Rabbit would get them until the very end
I love how you actually don't get to know it if they're all just going to get killed or not. You have to keep watching, knowing that it's possible that they'll survive. The two that did survive are definitely gonna need therapy.
I wonder what will happen about the two kids that did die. Either the police will search for them and give up or the two kids will be blamed for their disappearance/deaths
@@ILOVED0UGHNUTZi actually think they’re still alive. You see them out the window in the ending, and the house didn’t burn down. I think wither the episode might have been some “curse being broken” type thing Or something… the penguin’s eye was still beat up so at least some of the ending happened
@@ILOVED0UGHNUTZthe two kids explaining their experience would be confirmation that the other two are dead (jay heard one of them scream and the other is missing)
@@christianrad9924 The "broken curse" was prob a thing since their dead friend helped the rabbit and had like a distorted face but then they both show up and look normal so the rabbit and sheep probably had some control over their victims soul
The art style is something that can't go unnoticed, as well as the unique animation. This channel is easily one of the bet and you can tell about their passion for all the little details they put in like the camera flashing in the window at 2:59 . I appreciate work like this as it truly inspires me to create content, keep up the great work. PS wish I saw this animation sooner!
Pumpkin Rabit: Kills children, gets burned as a result, gets defeated by the souls of his past victims. William: First time? Someone was gonna make that joke eventually. Overall, impressive work, Mr. Martin.
Not the mention that after they killed them they worked for them just like the five kids in fnaf. Also the fact that this takes place in 1983 and if this actually took place in the fnaf world, then that would litteraly mean that this was just the beginning of another yellow rabbits rampage.
at around 9:24 you can see the pumpkin rabbit standing close to the house behind Ralph truly great attention to detail. I absolutely love this little halloween special.
@@INFP-Turd Okay yea that confused me a bit, cuz I thought all of the ghost kids hated the watermans. But if that's the case then how did they get ducky's spirit to listen to them and help them lure in a different child?
I loved seeing Tammy and Ducky approach the rabbit after the book burned. It brings a feeling of true justice, seeing the protagonists of the previous vid get their revenge. We’ve come full circle. Edit: damn, if only my channel got this much attention. Thank you all so much for a thousand likes on this comment🙏🙏
I think that Tammy is the one attacking the Sheep in the previous cut since the figure is more purple looking, the blue one walking to the Pumpkin Rabbit alongside Ducky is probably the hippo (?) from the pictures we see earlier
im happy they also made the animals look more cute so its worse when they die many people say they smille at gore then immediately become nice when they see a cite animals

14:44 it’s the fact that the pumpkin rabbit and the witch sheep won’t even let the kids die together, at least giving them some form of morbid form of solace that they went with someone they know, but nah they always have to go out with a feeling of being completely alone. That is some nasty work.
This is proven even further with the scene of Pumpkin Rabbit almost killing the Penguin kid. They could’ve easily just murdered the two while they were together but he instead forces the puppy to watch as he nearly commits the murder.
31:45 that tracking shot of the two that died. Their spirits stuck there for eternity. Staring off at their two surviving friends for probably the last time. So freaking eerie. So good.
no, the children burned the album, all the lost souls looked ugly, but these look in their original form, which means they invited to say goodbye or something
Worry not, for their souls were freed when the book was fried. The only two damned to remain trapped for eternity are the ones who dared to hurt those children in the first place, locked together down in a basement nobody will ever visit again
@@indiemedley1209 Actually no, There are two other souls trapped there, the ones of the clown and the robot since at 22:57 Jay doesn't pick up the photo, so these two folks are trapped there forever with the Watermans.
What scares me more is Witch Sheep, the character who doesn’t laugh maniacally once like her husband is *CHUCKLING* while she holds back Jay from helping Dino
i like how the ending was actually different from the first pumpkin rabbit vid with two of them actually surviving and killing the watermans. I even thought the lighter might be used to literally set them on fire but this was better since like it was shown the townsfolk already tried doing that before
@@boipatstar ironically pumpkin rabbit and his wife mostly made themselves immortal from a ritual and the townsfolk did shirking enough to not realize it because of anger pain agony and wrath in their minds and heart
One thing i really adore about how the Watermans are portrayed in this film is how desperate they are to the trick or treaters. It's been four years since their last kill (Tammy and Duckie) so I can imagine how nervous they must've been since new kids wander to their abode. They're so uncomfortably welcoming and kind, but they're obviously just trying to lure the kids deeper into their rabbit hole. Thats a really neat way of writing actually threatening killers. As for the film itself, amazing in every way. This really does feel like a home movie that actually released somewhere in the 80s and i appreciate that. Still think the production being one month is impressive too. You all have outdone yourselves, everyone involved.
That was SO good! The first kill scene stunned me, it was fucking brutal. The audio in this entire thing is horrific: the music, the cries, the screams. The ending is wonderful too! Super tense. The animation is also really great. Glad to see Kyle as an official animator! One thing that stuck with me is the reveal that TVA and Billy were victims as well. I always thought they were just kinda...there. and one final FINAL thing is I am very happy to see the witch sheep get some screen time! she was SCARY in the bedroom scene.
@@mlgcactus1035 have u watch the previous episode? TVA is the robot thingy and Billy is.. AHHH THEY KEEP REMINDING ME OF ASHLEY, HER DEATH WAS SO BRUTAL AND IT LITERALLY GAVE ME NIGHTMARES 😭 edit: youre good, anyone reading this should have a lovely day
I also liked the reveal TVA and Billy were victims (judging by it they were the first victims) was also horrifying in its own way as you don't realize it up until the dog girl has to pull a key out of one of those dead kid's mouths. Also Witch Sheep being scary as hell and Ducky's...spirit out of all things appearing and basically mimicking exactly what got him killed was really creepy in his own way.
love the way you closed the final of this sick couple, i was really hoping for a kid or two to stay alive and you delivered delightfuly, the way pumpkin rabbit was in this one, way more aggressive and giggly, was definetly in its finest, that made it spine-shivering, all the tension parts were just on point, absolute banger, this s slaps!
Obsessed with how the pumpkin rabbit is dressed as Bubba Sawyer. It immediately calls to mind their shared brutality, but it also makes me think of how many ways in which they're opposites. Bubba is frenzied and afraid, the rabbit is cold and calculating. Bubba only wants to eliminate witnesses for fear of punishment, but the rabbit sees his victims as toys he can do whatever he wants with.
There is probably no concrete connection between main series Walten Files and these Halloween specials but man, seeing Pumpkin and Witch get the terror and horror they gave out to their victims felt so good. I genuinely hope whatever the hell Bon is and Felix get the same treatment.
29:43 I find it quite fitting that the pumpkin rabbit who is obviously inspired by Spingtrap died in practically an identical way to his FNAF counterpart, meeting his end at the hands of those who murdered in cold blood all those years ago.
That's what I was thinking too. It's like both OG springlock death and the pizza sim fire. Because Pumpkin Bunny is already "dead" by fireand reborn(?), so being killed by burning(indirectly?) again AND while victims souls(?) are around is interesting combo
you are such an incredible story teller ugh i love this so much. i was so scared the whole time and felt genuine loss when two of the kids died. phenomenal work, dude
The scene where the puppy was in the cupboard was incredibly horrific. From the immediate death of the tiger kid and having his eyes wide open to then reveal the pumpkin rabbit puppeteering the dead body and then having her almost die if not for the one glass cup conveniently placed beside her when she was grabbed was **cinema** (joke intended)
@@Lux_anchieta no, saying "cinema" literally just isn't a joke. its meaning is face value. people just say "absolute cinema" because that meme made it trendy
the size of the ball compared to the pumpkin rabbit is fucking horrifying assuming that the children are around 4 - 5 feet tall the rabbit and sheep are HUGE if they drop the whole serial killer gig they could join the nba
considering how P. Rabbits hands are absolutely GRIZZLY to the point where he can maul a child’s face off with relative ease I think he’d just pop the ball by grabbing it
“horrors beyond your comprehension” is always do much terrifying when the characters in the story cant comprehend it because theyre just too young to, great work, extremely scary

It's pretty unclear whether anything happened and there was no reason for the police to be there at the end when the dad came to get them. Who made the call and who knew they were going to be there? There's a lot of stuff that just doesn't make sense outside of this being a dream, so it's entirely possible that one of them was having a nightmare brought about by a separate trauma that may be survivors guilt, but it could also just be a dream about a scary house. Unless it's ghosts and the local police operate a unit specialising in proactively seeking out ghost crime, I don't think that we can take things at face value

The irony of 2 prey animals being the predators and hunting others is an amazing thing to me also pumpkin rabbits voice is so good along with the witch sheep I love how far you’ve come
I remember a comment on the first video speculating that the rabbit would have let Tammy live if she didn’t follow Ducky’s voice. The tiger kid proves that wasn’t the case, as despite the pumpkin rabbits focus on “punishment,” you can do everything right and still die. There’s no rules or fairness. It’s just a creepy adult attacking kids for his own amusement.
I'm honestly surprised The Mysterious House didn't make it blatantly obvious. Lorenzo "Pumpkin Rabbit" Watterman was behind Tammy the whole time, closing off all doors behind her. He wanted her to find Ducky and to be horrified by what she saw in her last moments before he had his way with her. The Rabbit was messing around when he said he was "punishing" her. He planned this just like every other murder the Wattermans have committed. How is this a debate?

The return of the pumpkin rabbit is probably my favorite youtube short "film" I've ever witnessed. I genuinely have never seen something like it. Every moment put me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely incredible.
The thought that the kid’s designs are the only characters who have blank staring faces was a nice touch. It really gives more of the fear of the disembodied corpses of the children, with Duckie’s eyes being normal eyes and not black dots gives the more eeriness of the killings. Also with them having blank stares but can still know and feel their emotions is just pure amazing work. It also adds vulnerability and isolation to the kids being short and cute and the Watermans and murdered being the complete opposite. Martin this is awesome!
Everyone talking about Ralph but think about Paco. Poor kid went in, knew there was danger, got separated cause he heard a voice who he thought could be trusted, only to be betrayed by that voice and trapped with the Witch Sheep. And then it felt like the Witch Sheep was well aware Paco was doomed, but toyed with him anyway. Masterful video! Happy belated Halloween!
@Enclave_general_v2 you will not get the eerie version the witch sheep sung as that was done purely by the VA for this video but the lullaby/nursery rhyme is "Hush little baby"
The fact that it's defenseless children being hunted down makes it so much more sad and disturbing. Nightmare fuel. Also, Jay is the best character ever made.
I swear one thing I feel Martin does perfectly are screams. I don't know how he does it, but in almost every one of his works when his characters scream in agony it always sounds so real, it always makes my heart drop for a moment, like I'm actually hearing someone die.
It is so rare for an analog horror video to show that monster actually doing its thing so its a nice Halloween treats to see the pumpkin rabbit's practices on full display here.

The pacing, moments of silence, detailed artwork, the music and voice acting was all just phenomenal. I wish there was some kind of creative award we could nominate you for, this was top tier storytelling.
The end really made me cry, knowing that Jay has lost some of her friends and has been traumatized from what she's witnessed. She lived to tell the tale, but came out with permanent scars
I hate this. Not because it’s bad, because it is scaring me so bad that I can’t look at my phone. This is genuinely the scariest indie-horror film I have ever seen. Great job ❤
It’s the way Pumpkin Rabbit WAITED for the dog to slip up that gets me. He could’ve easily just ambushed him immediately, but no. He simply put pressure on the poor boy by taking his time, slowly inching towards him. The VERY moment the dog gets stuck, He strikes. Pumpkin probably took his precious time because he KNEW he wasn’t gonna escape.
the poor dog kid, after seeing that scene and realizing I wasn’t halfway through I was not only scared for the reason of his brutal ending, but scared that the rest of it would only get worse. truly amazing work, but god. what a terrifying scene
Really appreciate how the last things the Pumpkin Rabbit (Lorenzo Waterman? I guess he has a name now.) sees are the two victims from The Mysterious House standing over him.
25:46 That's Édouard Leon Scott singing Au Clair de la Lune into his invention (not Edision's), the phonograph in 1860. It's sounds like a female voice because it was originally played sped up. It sounds creepy due to age and the technology of the time. I've always been a fan of history and facts so this brought a smile to my face (even if it is unnerving) Side Note: I call out Thomas Edison because he (like so many other inventions) didn't create it. He only patterned the design.
This was actually so fucking good. That new art style, man it makes everything seem so much creepier, the Witch Sheep in particular was absolutely terrifying. It was great to see these characters return and equally satisfying to see them get their comeuppence. It's awesome to see your art style evolve, and now we get full on animation? You're spoiling us, Martin! Fantastic work as always
I love how this is an improvement in, not only in animation and lore implications But also how you made the witch sheep just as scary as the pumpkin rabbit In the mysterious house she felt like more of an accomplice that works with the rabbit, now she’s her own living breathing terrifying monster, love it Great work as always!
Yeah I thought they did that because it was a play on how people would feel safer with a woman, so she’d be the one to lure them in since she looked less frightening. I thoroughly enjoy the way trauma/CPTSD is implied in many ways. Put yourself in the shoes of any one of the children, more specifically Jay or Dino, forced to live with the fact that all your friends were murdered by serial killers turned paranormal entities who eventually burned to death and that nobody will believe a word you say ever, the silent car ride home, the permanently empty seat at the dinner table that the families of the deceased are forever burdened by. Et cetera. This is what analog horror is, outstanding work. Absolutely loved every second of it.
I loved the special part when the Pumpkin Rabbit said “I always come back” and then threw it back like nobody’s business. It was very emotional and inspiring. Thank you, Martin.
I think the most horrifying thing that is implied in the credits is that not only are the spirits of the children trapped with their killers, but they also (unwillingly) help them attract more victims (As is shown with Ducky, Billy, and TVA). Also, love all the call backs to the original! Pumpkin Rabbit's mimicry making a return, Witch Sheep's slower speech pattern that call back to her original text to speech voice, Witch Sheep acting as a kindly woman who lures the children into a false sense of security, Tammy's corpse as the Scarecrow, Ducky leading a child to their death like his voice led Tammy to hers, Ducky and Tammy standing over the Pumpkin Rabbit as he dies, Pumpkin Rabbit's removable mask- The Mysterious House was my favorite Halloween video but this really took the cake!
17:00 this frame is just plane terryfing. The way the kid turns on the light, and the sheep, is just behind him, in silence, being bigger than him, and then just cutting the scene inplying that she kills the boy. Chills. Amazing job again, Martín

the part where he mutilates the kids face, it gives me an awful rememberance of assault, especially towards children, not just ruining them but their essence and their being, till they are unreconizable. And of course, they are all innocent like the children in this, just small defensless plushes being attacked by giant, disturbing or distrubed people.
I like the detail of how the children look cartoony, whilst W. Sheep and her husband are desaturated, realistic, and basically just rotting away. EDIT: Thinking for a sec, but whenever the batman-dog kid gets mauled his face becomes a lot more realistic- same goes for Dino’s eyes becoming realistic whenever Lorenzo tears at his right eye. Just feel like it’s a nice detail when the cartoony attributes are taken away, perfectly explains Rachel and Lorenzo’s horrific state- they’ve both been charred to death!

At least the kids have each other in the end, both the alive and the dead ones.
it is really sad. if you look back you’ll see that Ralph’s last interactions with the others was them picking on him for being scared, and poco’s last interaction with jay was calling her an idiot. not how i’d like to say bye to my friends/siblings.
but if anything jay certainly proved she was indeed the toughest kid in town.
from how the house looks during the day as the cops find jay and dino, it seems that any evidence of the childrens' corpses/pumpkin rabbit + witch sheeps' persistence with life are hidden and are only revealed/able to interact with the real world and vice versa on halloween night (which makes sense as all hallow's eve is considered a time when the veil between the living and spirit worlds thin).
jay burned the book to get them (hopefully) permanently killed, so her and dino are the only ones with the biggest amount of knowledge on the killings left between seeing the corpses themselves and the two of them having seen the book...and the implication is that dino's autistic to the point that he only communicates through echolalia, so that leaves jay as the sole witness who's directly seen what the cops couldn't find and can tell people about it.
and dino
oh, dino only repeating what his friends (or siblings?) say really hits home for me. as a person with an autistic twin brother who repeats phrases, i was immediately afraid for his safety, especially when he grabbed the Witch Sheep's book.
I’m really glad Dino took the book.
he just did his own thing which is what got him to survive until the end if he went with either of the 3 on the earlier scenes he also wouldve died
@@cristof1 His autism, quite literally, saved his life and kept him from being an easy target.
She doesn’t do this out of being forced by an evil man, she’s just as uncaring, just as cruel, she’s just quieter about it…
Really wonderful work, Walten. Such a great movie.

I'm sorry that dog in a batman costume was pretty dumb ngl, Bro went to search for his ball In the most darkest place ever
He still stayed by the abandoned house, alone, at night.
And he trespassed into the back yard.
And he approached the creepy stranger.
That's three broken rules.
Yeah, he died due to the fact he broke even that one rule
The male dog would've survived, had he left the abandoned house without his friends. That was the only way, unfortunately.
Technically broken it the moment he stepped in

I'm gonna be honest, I genuinely think Rachel is a better villain than Lorenzo now.
@ even the corpses of the children where sooo goood, it really gave that decaying feeling.
I kinda miss the animation from TMH, you could actually see the emotions.
@ that is SO TRUE, it’s a shame that this new animation doesn’t have it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it the purple wolf that said that after seeing Ducky's corpse?

“horrors beyond your comprehension” is always do much terrifying when the characters in the story cant comprehend it because theyre just too young to, great work, extremely scary
The sad part is that the kid in the blue costume lived however they’ll never truely recover from the trauma they faced. Not to mention where bon was attacking was near there eyes which might’ve caused vision problems.
Not only that they'll probably have survivor's guilt knowing that their other friends weren't so lucky...😥
From the looks of things, I don't think their eyes were injured.

TRUE! I wasnt expecting the dead kids to get their payback
@@weetme1613did they?
The first kid who died turned up as one of the cops at the end and they were found alone with no bodies or anything.
@@casanovafunkenstein5090I like to imagine that the kids went free with The Watermen being forced to take their place (thus why they are be only mannequins at the end) but it’s just a little theory

25:46 That's Édouard Leon Scott singing Au Clair de la Lune into his invention (not Edision's), the phonograph in 1860. It's sounds like a female voice because it was originally played sped up. It sounds creepy due to age and the technology of the time.
I've always been a fan of history and facts so this brought a smile to my face (even if it is unnerving)
Side Note: I call out Thomas Edison because he (like so many other inventions) didn't create it. He only patterned the design.
That’s so interesting. What about the song at the end when the children’s ghosts are attacking? Were you able to discern that one?

I thoroughly enjoy the way trauma/CPTSD is implied in many ways. Put yourself in the shoes of any one of the children, more specifically Jay or Dino, forced to live with the fact that all your friends were murdered by serial killers turned paranormal entities who eventually burned to death and that nobody will believe a word you say ever, the silent car ride home, the permanently empty seat at the dinner table that the families of the deceased are forever burdened by. Et cetera.
This is what analog horror is, outstanding work. Absolutely loved every second of it.

I think the most horrifying thing that is implied in the credits is that not only are the spirits of the children trapped with their killers, but they also (unwillingly) help them attract more victims (As is shown with Ducky, Billy, and TVA).
Also, love all the call backs to the original! Pumpkin Rabbit's mimicry making a return, Witch Sheep's slower speech pattern that call back to her original text to speech voice, Witch Sheep acting as a kindly woman who lures the children into a false sense of security, Tammy's corpse as the Scarecrow, Ducky leading a child to their death like his voice led Tammy to hers, Ducky and Tammy standing over the Pumpkin Rabbit as he dies, Pumpkin Rabbit's removable mask- The Mysterious House was my favorite Halloween video but this really took the cake!

the part where he mutilates the kids face, it gives me an awful rememberance of assault, especially towards children, not just ruining them but their essence and their being, till they are unreconizable. And of course, they are all innocent like the children in this, just small defensless plushes being attacked by giant, disturbing or distrubed people.

I like the detail of how the children look cartoony, whilst W. Sheep and her husband are desaturated, realistic, and basically just rotting away.
