- Welcome back to another Trepang2 video. For this one I am showing one of the several side missions from this game, this involves a wave based mechanic where you infiltrate one of the enemy faction hideouts to take them out. I've been enjoying this game quite a bit, I think they nailed the gameplay and overall feeling of combat as well.

You know this game is great when you enjoy watching other people playing it too just to watch if they pulled the same level of chaos.
Game of the year for me.
Damn the gunfights and action are crazy just imagine getting chased off by a cultist wielding god knows what in their hand and just gets engulfed in flames then still chases after you whilst burning
11:18 that guy falling over the other guy you kicked is hilarious just makes a game 10x better with physics like that.

The fact this is coming to consoles is still unreal to me. 2023 is a great year to be a gamer. Was dull for so long, but through the power of Trepang and literally every other game releasing this year (other than a couple we shall not name), gaming feels more alive than ever.
I wish there were more guns in this game tbh.
I hope they’ll add more weapons in the future, like a desert eagle 5AE.

I love how long you can hold a cultist as a shield. Mostly, how they get scared, so he really gives them a whack. They deserve to suffer 😉

btw not trying to diss. The gameplay was great and stylish.
I mean no disrespect to the uploader of this video. But I need to commend the developers of this game. I played fear on release date. Yeah, it's as good as anyone on the internet says. Yeah I know the influences. Yea I know John Woo. But i must comment. People must read: you know those stealthbr gameplay you watch that makes the videogames incredible and you just think to yourself "my god i wish i could do that". And then your skill ceiling is so low you couldnt ever pull of those dishonored sick moves? This game. This game right here. Low skill ceiling. Badass outcome. Just buy it. Buy full price. Dont think about it. I only olay on easy and I pull so much sick manouvers i doubt myself. This game is more tony hawk and sunset overdrive than it is fear. No one talks about this. Controller, easy difficult. You can slow mo, slide, knock grab enemy mid air, throw with a live granade, shoot the live granade mid air slowmo see the particle effects all the whistles and bells. You can do it. t;l d;r: buy this game.
