I tried my own version of this using a 15cm circle as a base and it worked really well. It was fully fused and then slumped in a flat base mould. Thank you for sharing it.
Hello Maria, I used Bullseye glass. But, I think you can try to do this in other types of glass like float or system 96. Are you working with float? Then I would try Thompson enamel or Optul on top.
Love the result. Your video is nauseous to watch. A bit of high speed forward or stopping tape to complete a step would be more enjoyable to watch & still get your technique across. I've never made an instructional video, but know how I enjoy watching them. Your plate turned out gorgeous. Now, I need to get back to finishing your video.
You can use the cogwheel to either slow down or speed up the video. Sorry, you think it is nauseous, but at least you get a technique for free. (And I used the highest speed possible in some part in iMovie)

Thanks Lena! What a great way to use up scraps which I'm sure many of us have plenty of! :)
Thank you, yes I am sure almost all of us have loads of clear scrap

Thank you
Very beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it! Thanks 🐢
lovely's just starting out, something for the future
Thank you
You might add a different color under the circle of glass so those watching can see better
Thank you for your suggestion
Do you have a firing schedules available
I Love this!!!!
Wonderful!!!!
Thank you
@@lenabeckeus6322 You are so Welcome!!!
Beautiful. How does the white around the edges form?
Because the powder ball up and shrink during the firing
The "white" is clear - the edges of all clear pieces
Awesome👍😱
Thank you
I didn’t know the powder you were using was red. It looked so different fired I assumed it was another sample.
I wrote transparent red, and garnet red in the text, I think you missed that. Powders are always lighter than bigger frit or sheet glass.
Are your firing schedules on ur web site? Lovely work!!
Thank you. No, under my name you see a "show more" button - push it and you will find them.
was the clear a striker. Or is the red dish not the same as the sample you were working?
No, it wasn´t a striker. I sifted red glass powder (and charcoal grey), as I show in the video on top of the clear pieces
Could you please explain what you mean by all the segments in the fusing schedules?
I am not sure I understand your question, the segments are in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, C for Celsius, F for Fahrenheit
Segment 1 (Full fuse schedule) 222°C per hour until 600°C is reached, hold on this temperature (600°C) for 1 hour
Beautyfull 👍👍
Ben Tebrunsvelt, thank you
❤❤🙂❤❤
What is the commercial name of the powder? I am in Argentina, I have to find it here if it's available. Thanks.

I have only used that much glue one time and it caused bubbles and bulges all over my piece. Never again!
Did you spray any hair spray over the frit powder, or was it not necessary? Any cold working needed?
No, no hair spray, no cold working. I don´t do anything which I don´t show you (or tell) in the video
Lena, how did the edges of the clear turn white?
It isn´t white, it is clear. it is the edges of the small pieces without sifted powder which are without any colors
thanks
You don't spray the piece with water at all right?
Thanks so much
No, I don´t
@@lenabeckeus6322 Thank You!!!!
Must we use all transparents for this process? Or can we use opals? Thank You!!!!
No, opals will work. Other shapes on the scrap is also fine
@@lenabeckeus6322 Great!!! Thank You!!!!
Why didn't you use a circle cutter?
Sorry, I do not understand your question. Do you mean the circles in the middle? They are too small for an ordinary circle cutter
I used a circle cutter for the large circle which I glued the small pieces to
