Progression 8: Remember kids, after every trick you land, spin like a ballerina as fast as you can like me! just kidding you're awesome ryan!
the spin makes it look smoother too
*2020 - this was so epic tutorial back then* - it actually is even now )))
After 9yr 😮😮 i am the only one who is here 🥺🥺
No dude, this tutorial still sucking 😂
Nah iam here for so long
I can do a cork but I can't do any of the progressions except for the cartwheel
Can do a btwist but can't do cartwheel 😂
Hmmm... Kick the moon and Butterfly twist.
Kick the B Twist?
Butterfly the moon?
twist kick the butterfly
Cork
Great stuff!!
Another way of looking at it.
1. Get a gainer flash (I cant cheat gainer, but I gainer flash)
2. Get a standing full twist (off a height, just so you know the motion).
3. Mix em together. Cork. Sooooo much easier than a standing full.
Thats how I got em. I love my corks. Thanks Ryan :)
awesome tutorial!! and beautiful place ;)
your tutorials are the bests!!
youre tutorials are the best on youtube man :D thanks!
1- cart wheel = humm ok im able
2- JStep = DAMNNNNN ok probably one day
3- Cork = ok what the fukk is that tutorial
Well i can backflip on ground no probleme but. J-step...
0.o wutt
Ik billy that a J step is the movement you create with your foot but I cant do it
+Viiv viiV Dude, Ryan told shit, the move you are referring to is a cheat gainer / kick the moon, the j-step is a simple set up, anyone can do it. The flip in itself is called a cheat gainer.
im 13. &im in India im always learning tricks by seeing you guys on U tube because here is no teacher for what i want i insspired by bruce lee, tony jaa ,donnie yen & other martial arts star but. after after seeing pip andersan i became a fan of parkour &free running so i want a pearson. who is great in both and one day i have seen you on tv and i love you ,you are the best tricking master in whole universe but last i wanted. to meet you &im feared that i can never meet you in my life. because im from a poor family&evry one wants me to studu but i know that i will do something great in the tricking world
SID DHARMA ok
love your outtakes
Fabulous tutorial. Great production. Thanks.
does the direction of the cartwheel matter?
Don't corks actually have a 540 spin, not a 360? Because a lot of people think it's a 360, but if you actually think about it it has to be a 540. You know. You're coming out of the J-Step and your going into the cork, your facing up. So a 360 spin, you'd be facing up again. So to land it you have to turn over an extra 180 to land.
+Parkour Community I understand your thinking, but it's quite far from a 540, only 180* but it's the jump from the J-step when it starts to count, not the start of the J step ;)
+Niclas Silfverberg well I know that, but I meant once he starts to jump and starts spinning in the air. It has to be a 540 spin because he starts facing the sky, he spins and faces the sky again (that's one) then he turns an extra 180
Yes it is a 540 spin due to the set up into the move
very very well tutorial, definitely the best for a cork out there.
thanks for the effort!
Ryan you are defenitely the biggest of all my inspirations !!
I like that you make tutorial videos, THANK YOU ! :)
3:27 LOL drawing😂😂😂😂
Eduan Malan YES LOL SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE HAHAHAHA
Sam & The Banjo Man by Luca Cornelio is the song's name at the beginning! ADD TO THE DESCRIPTION!!!!
Your tutorials are so good!!!!
you are so cool! i love your tutorials and i love you!!
Worst possible cork tutorial... How is this still on the internet?
agreed.
Steven French I actually found this quite helpful and interesting. internet needs much more positivity
Have you seen any other tutorials on the very same skill?
Someone of Ryan's caliber should be putting out much more informative, useful information. His ignorance to his own sport is simply offensive.
"It's called a j-step because you make the letter 'J' in the air"... Not even remotely true. Maybe even a negative percent true...
aye man say what you want but many think it was helpful so idk man
Steven French no man this is a good tut, not complicated and easy to understand its just matter of practice
This is one of the best, most detailed tutorials on UA-cam. Ryan, if you make more tutorials, I'll subscribe :)

This is a really good tutorial one of the best on youtube. It goes into allot more detail than most tricking tutorials and is very entertaining at the same time. The progression idea is also very good outdoing the 3run tutorial for this trick.
