When I read about the Gotti conviction , I also saw that Frank Locascio was convicted along with him. I live in the Bronx and I always wondered where Frank Locascio was based. I wasn't surprised to find out that Mr. Locascio home base was the Arthur Ave area. Arthur Ave. is called the "Little Italy of the Bronx". It contains many restaurants, bakeries, pizza shops, and small family owned businesses. I've seen the Peter Santinello/ Rich Mancuso video many times. Mr. Mancuso states that the mob protected the neighborhood during its heyday in the past. He longs for the old bygone era when the mob ruled the streets of the Italian Bronx. I also saw the Frank Locascio "Little Italy" funeral . He was transported in a horse drawn carriage with a uniformed horseman driver. His family & supporters followed at a respectful distance. His daughter was very visible and I empathized her grief. The entire funeral illustrated a class act , just like Mr. Locascio desired. I now know who Frank Locascio was and what his kind of Cosa Nostra leader he really was. Respects to a great man who knew how to lead a lot better than today's incompetent, corrupt politicians. Arrivederla a un grande uomo , Sig. Francesco Locascio !!!!
My father had with him conversation. My Dad ran a Jcc on Pelham Parkway (about to go there my dentist is there) My dads one time talking to him. My Father said he was a pure Gentleman.. (rare compliment from my Father) my Father passed of Covid too 5/24/20. I didnt know Mr Locasio past away from Covid as well. My genuine respects..
Frankie loc one of the best he looked out for me as a kid.because I used to hang out all day and night in front of amici’s restaurant I live directly across the street on E187th St. He got me my first real job as a kid at Artuso Pastry Shop. Great man will never forget him
That statement Frankie Loc made to the judge is exactly what kept him locked up, he called Gotti a hero, and because of that they were never letting him go ever!!
Since I couldn’t comment on Franks funeral procession video, I’ll say here in this comment section that that was a beautiful ceremony, very touching and classy….what a nice touch to have a taste of the New Orleans tradition with the second line…..and major props to the women including his daughter who walk all that distance in stilettos…
Your in depth of detail and facts is amazing , no one else tells a story like you do other than people there but you don’t bs . Thanks for the content I enjoy it , I enjoy it bc of the facts and not the bullshit !

One of my best childhood friends in Rhode Island her dad was friends with Mr locassio. He was a mountain amongst men and stayed true to his friends and family. That's all they ever say and it was the Bullshitter who put him away. he spent his life in prison. No place for dog's nevermind men of honor . I didn't know you but I hope you rest in peace. I wasn't around for many years but I stayed in touch with my mom. My father passed away in '86 and now they're all together again! May you all R.I.P........
Nice Video Jeff! However Jeff I think you misspoke around 3:45 when you said Frank Locascio was made by the time he was 23 in 1995 when the family was still run by Albert Anastasia. Anastasia got whacked in 1957.
@@thesitdownwithjeffnadu No Jeff...don't take it the wrong way...I really like your videos as you always do a great job. Was just pointing a very minor error out. I've heard other commentators similar to yourself mention and correct an error to two in their past videos. Overall this was a nice video about a guy I before knew very little about. That said...We good?
@JeffNadu YES BRO!!!!! 👌😎🔥 I've been waiting since last November for you to do one of your Stella Researched Segments on The Man. The Myth. The LEGEND himself. Frankie -Lo! R.i.p Frankie (a rare breed doing 29yrs 😢) Great 👍 work Jeff. Much Love from England! 👊💥 Respect 👏💯
I missed this episode...damn this was a real good one. Nothing but facts here, Frankie "Loc" his only real big issue was being close to Gotti. Those tapes with Gotti chattering like a magpie did him in..and Sammy didn't help either, regardless if he tried to clear Frank years later. He had a great send off in the end but being a stand up guy, keeping loyal and his mouth shut, guaranteed his permanent custody..we all knew how the government was with Gotti and his crew. Awesome job Jeff, you're on point my man.

The argument that Frank should have done something to stop it, is really weak. How do they know that there weren’t other conversations where he did? Life in prison because he stayed silent in one conversation? Wow
Correction-Just for the Record: 3:38 "It was said that Frank Locascio would actually be made by his 23rd birthday in 1995 still when the family is being run by Albert Anastasia." I KNOW you meant to say 1955 instead of 1995. As you know Anastasia was long dead by 1995 he was hit in 1957. You already mentioned that Frankie Loc was born in 1932, so his 23rd birthday would be in 1955 and the Mad Hatter would indeed be alive. This is for those who may be taking notes. Thanx for the video.

frank locascio was absolutely a heavyweight with the mob. he was good friends and had close ties with sammy and with john gotti. the movie gotti tells you everything if you are interested in the mob. the actor that played frankie did great.
Awesome video on LoCascio jeff just my opinion but don1t think whatever frank did to intervene In Gotti`s decision to put a hit on DiBono i believe Gottis ego was to big to give Louis a pass and i agree Frank should never have Died in prison regarding his funeral i saw that and yes it was nice touch with the horse drawn carriage through frank`s old Neighbourhood really interesting video and info jeff look forward to the next one good work jeff take care .
I agree with you that Frankie Loc couldn't speak up against the hit on DiBono. Hell, if Frankie Loc spoke out against Gotti, he probably would've been marked for death too. Gotti seemed very petty and demanding of his capos. Had that persona "im the BOSS so you better not cross me". Was Frankie Loc convicted of accessory of murder for Louis DiBono? Not sure. I had to wiki "accessory to murder" and it seems that in a court of law, relatively, if you have knowledge of a future crime like murder hits, you are liable to be charged with accessory to murder. He should've gotten early release man but unfortunately, the court of law doesn't always take these variables into factor. Frankie Loc was a true tough guy. He was LCN to the core. Even though he stated good things about Gotti, I personally think his biggest downfall was getting too close to Gotti 🤷♂ . I recall the "orange story" told by Gravano, Frankie Loc offered an orange to Gravano before offering one to Gotti. Bruh imagine saying all sorts of good remarks about a guy, in court, in public, in front of everyone, only to realize that guy saw you as a dirt underling. RIP Frank.
Nice touch about the funeral for guys who didn't rat and did there time can you imagine gravano and all the other informants getting that respect sorry but did you say that gravano said he should be released that rat put him in jail
The governments hard on for convicting the mob borders on overzealousness (I know that’s not a word🤣) and probably has to do with jealousy on the feds part (although they would never admit it) and I say this because of how spiteful and petty they were to certain individuals, particularly Locascio, and people like Orena, who obviously doesn’t even know who he is anymore, whereas Locasio was never really a menace and to not even grant him compassionate release when it obvious he was at risk for Covid. It’s not hard to understand why some communities revered many of the gangster when you consider who the hypocrisy of the government with how it dishes out justice.
I know ppl In The mafia done a lot of bad. But to put him in jail until he died because all because he didn’t tell John not to kill someone is crazy, if he did that he would had most likely been killed! So it’s a “damn if I do,& damn if I don’t” situation smh
Joining the assassination team and supporting John Gotti was a bad deal for Frankie in the end and the reason why he ended up dying in prison. John Gotti needed Frankie, Frankie didn't need John Gotti
