Shoot! I had to put my glasses on when Wonder Woman came on. Jayne Kennedy and Linda Carter on screen together. Two of the most beautiful women in America at that time was something to see.
This is one of my favorite episodes of WW, I'm a Artist i created a character of a Powerful Beautiful Black Amazon as a kid Jayne Kennedy inspired me to do so. Linda Carter and Jayne Kennedy both so Stunning 😍😍😍😍
This is so awesome!!! As a child growing up in the 70's, this was my favorite show and Charlie's Angels 😆 🤣 😂. I use to think if they would consider Lynda Carter having a black best friend or sister who was a super hero, who happens to be African American. Both women are so beautiful and gorgeous, I loved being a little girl in this era. Excellent programming
@@WonderWomanTVHD Oh yes, and in my memories Lynda Carter or Diana Prince was wearing similar boots also very often. Hope there is still something to come in your channel.
A lil’ trivia: There was actually talk of bringing Nubia to the WW universe. In fact, there was already a Nubia doll on the market paired with Diana’s WW action figure. It would’ve been awesome if there was a better fight scene between Carolyn The Independent Revolutionary and Diana, Legendary Princess of Paradise Island.
Jane Kennedy looks, great in her vintage fashion wrap dress and leather boots and is equally beautiful as Lynda Carter. This episode was called 'Knockout' I see why! 👲🏾👍🏾 I'll just pretend Mrs. Kennedy's character is really "Nubia-Wonder Woman" Princess Diana's twin sister. Wink...Wink!!! 😉😃
There was "talk" of giving "Nubia" her own series, back then with Jayne as the lead of course. She and Lynda Carter looked as if they could be Amazonian sisters.,
@@FranzSausage, I appreciate your reply. So. 26. Incredible. I was thinking of 21 as maximum. They look like college girls. I'd have accepted 19. Anyway, youth is a plus.
Jane was in the pilot episode of Wonder woman she came to the same place Wonder woman came from I do believe that was the the storyline see Steve saved her and then as a progress she came back again
That wasn’t Jayne Kennedy. That was another actress who portrayed Angelique, Dina’s sister of color in the TV movie pilot starring Kathy Lee Crosby which steered so far away from the comic book original that it never worked out.
I think Nubia was already in play when this aired. In any event they hinted at Diana’s Black sister in Cathy Lee Crosby’s WW fighting scene with her sister Angelique in the epic third act battle of the TV pilot movie. It would’ve been great to see Jayne portray Nubia tho. She was statuesque and gorgeous!
There was some really bad acting in that clip. It’s a good thing that there were two beautiful women in it. It was the only thing the clip had going for it! 😂😂
The aspect that really got me about Jayne Kennedy were the contrasts between her acting in TV and movies versus being herself on live TV: Even with the luxury of rehearsal time afforded her in fictional characters for movie and TV roles, she would never win any awards. But, she was exceptionally good when being herself on live TV, such as on CBS during the NFL seasons; and she won an Emmy for being the host of the 1982 Rose Bowl.
Such a great clip with the gorgeous Jayne Kennedy.
Two of the most gorgeous women that ruled the late 70's and 80's.
Meet the black Wonder Woman. That wrap dress is everything ❤
It is so good seeing two of the most beautiful women on the same screen! I love Lynda Carter and Jayne Kennedy!

I agree!
Did you know there was even talk to feature Jayne in a Wonder Woman spin-off series?
Not too many women that can go face to face with Lynda Carter in but Jayne Kennedy is one of them.

Two of the worlds most beautiful women on Tv casting director was genius .
Jayne Kennedy: a matchless beauty
Miss Kennedy is a true legend man.
Two beautiful women ❤
Wow! Two of the most beautiful ladies of the 1970’s together on screen at the same time! Dreams do come true!😍
What a Beauty, Body, Walk, and the Voice?
Stunning!
Jayne knew she was Beautiful!

The whole outfit is fierce!! The dress, scarf, hair, boots- all dope! Vanity favors her too.
Absolutely! Jayne looks awesome here.
I thought the same thing of Jayne Kennedy/Vanity similarities
So much beauty on the television screen. Without question, Ms. Carter and Ms. Kennedy, each an absolute Goddess. 🥵😍🥰
She looks like Vanity
Jayne Kennedy is very beautiful. I like it when a tall woman is wearing high heel boots.
I agree, Jayne looks great with those high heel leather boots!
@@WonderWomanTVHD Oh yes, and in my memories Lynda Carter or Diana Prince was wearing similar boots also very often. Hope there is still something to come in your channel.
@@FranzSausage All will come.
@@WonderWomanTVHD I'm looking forward to it
I love both Lynda Carter and Jayne Kennedy, she was a Nubia doll and sister of Wonder Woman on the show.
They are both exceptional.
These two beauties together I cant stand it!
Jayne Kennedy omg such a beauty!!!!!
Jayne Harrison Ohio's finest finer than halle berry
Now if there were really good writers doing that time they would have made Jane Kennedy Nubia.

oh wow, i didnt know Jayne appeared in #WonderWoman! I remember seeing her on 227, she was a foil for Sandra Clark lol!
Jayne was every bit as gorgeous as Lynda Carter
Are you kidding me! Lynda Carter couldn't hold a candle to Jayne Kennedy!
If not more!❤❤❤
@@reignrobinson7951 I don’t know about. Lynda Carter was pretty darn gorging here heyday but both women were really attractive.

I have heard people describe Jayne that way here. Why not? If there can be a Nazi Wonder Woman, there can surely be a hot Nubian Wonder Woman.
@@WonderWomanTVHD agreed!!!😀👍

Also I heard she audition for Wonder Woman
Two HOTTIES at their pique HOTTIENESS 💥🔥🤣😎🤩🥳💰
She would have been Nubia in that episode. To bad Nubia was never in the old Tv series it would had been awesome.
So beautiful
These two stars were so young! 21, maybe?
No, a little bit older. Lynda Carter and Jayne Kennedy are born in 1951. So they were about 26 in 1977 when this was aired.
@@FranzSausage, I appreciate your reply. So. 26. Incredible. I was thinking of 21 as maximum. They look like college girls. I'd have accepted 19. Anyway, youth is a plus.
I believe they were in their mid twenties.
She should have played wonder woman!

It is hard to picture Miss Kennedy as a bad guy man.
She looked too beautiful, intelligent and wholesome to play a villain
I wonder if this gave the Wonder Woman comic book creator the idea for Nubia ( Diana's twin black sister)?
I was just thinking the same thing about nubia. She should have played her. She was beautiul and right for the part.
@@terrencesullivan9229 I agree - Jayne Kennedy would have been perfect.
