The two smaller guys with the headgear are Cheslin Kolbe and Kurt-Lee Arendse.

Prepare to become addicted to the Springboks 🇿🇦

The question you asked about what they were doing... Its called a scrum. They scrum/push forward using brute force. We have super strong forwards/scrum players. You are not allowed to lose the ball forward when you are in possession so all the passes you see, they have to pass out backwards. Unless you kick the ball then you can pass forward like you saw a few times. The players have to touch the ball down in the goal area which gives them 5 points. Then you get a conversion which gives you an extra 2 points if you kick the ball in between the posts. The players can also opt to drop kick the ball from anywhere in the field which gives you 3 points but you dont see that very often. Eben Etzebeth is called our enforcer and he went to the same school as I did so we lived more or less in the same area. Brutal guy! 2.03 meters tall and 117kg of pure muscle! He is often in most of the fights and always laughs at his opponents. He is the guy you saw at the beginning of the video, man handling that Ausie!

  • @MemphisBrown-wy9es

im a kiwi chick, gotta love some of our best opposition🤙 with much respect to the current world champs (grrr lol) 🙂

  • @jp-pp7wr

that group huddle is called a scrum. We use it to gain ground towards the opposition team area closer to the try line.

  • @annabrisley479

    Love from South Africa 🇿🇦

  • @TobiasCassidy

There was two guys with the headgear that are both really good, the main one is Cheslin Kolbe, and the other one was Kurtlie Arendse both phenomenal players though Kolbe would be the more famous.

  • @roycep1737

First friendly tip for rugby in terms of numbers.

  • @jp-pp7wr

React next on the recent World Cup Rugby held in France. South Africa aka the Springboks

  • @Williamparata

It's called a scrum. But watch rugby explained for Americans there are 2 different types of rugby. Rugby union and rugby league and both have different rules of play

  • @jp-pp7wr

    defintely teamwork.

  • @tobyhart

Dude you remind me of Walter in The Big Lebowski. You're out of your element, but calmer than me.

  • @conradvandeventer3681

There are two small guys wearing the scrum caps. It's Cheslin Kolby and Kurt-Lee Arendse and they're both absolute pocket rockets.

  • @brentmatthyse7682
