Thanks, that's the plan. If I can get a hold of an STL with the helmets and weapons I should be able to scale them down but will see if I can get it to print first as I have never used one before.
I have tested this before. It wont be as good but it can be used if its all you can get. You need to move the wash to where you want it when applying as it dries a lot faster. You can also make your own black oil wash with oil paint and white spirit, it would be exactly the same as the weathering pigment if you use a decent quality oil paint. Let me know if you have any other questions
Love it! this is the color scheme I'm gonna go with as well. 3D printing is amazing, makes things so much easier and some fantastic alternate sculpts out there. Question: where did you get those bases?
Thanks, I got the bases from ebay (Magic temple resin bases) Another reason to invest in a 3d Printer as I was spending a lot of cash on resin bases and terrain that I should be able to print myself in the future.
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures Thanks for the info! you are gonna love having a 3D Printer... It is soooo much fun. it is also a gateway drug to things like Blender when you realize you could just modify or make the part yourself. Have fun!
I just bought every pots of fanatic paint to get the same scheme. Thanks, it looks amazing !
You wont regret it, I have the full set and love it.
nice, conversions with 3d printed parts, love to see that 😄

Love it! Thanks again!
Thank you, glad you like it.

Thank you!
Reckon a thin layer of nuln oil can be used instead of the weathering pigment?

@TeddyKGBMiniatures awesome thanks for the advice, I'll probably just looks at getting some weathering pigment then
@@prof.ragequit8371 Any black oil or enamel wash can be used, so even things like black streaking grime would work
