1 advice.. Just make sure u have lot of patience.. Coz they will literally call you after 2 months.(for airbus) . I got selected in delhi on 5th of jan. For airbus only... Had done with my medicals after e days.. And after that.. They literally took 2 months.. And i got my joining date a week ago.. It's 13th April 2023..so..

I have done bachelor of commerce.. i love seeing what you and other creators do.. but I don't know what my skill & passion is what i am interested in..pls guide me how can I find my carrier & skill improve??
I've been there trust me, I've also done B.Com hahah, and while studying I lost interest in it and was searching for new options for almost 2 years. There's nothing called passion tbh, you need to sit and think about what makes you happy and what would be a good career which alligns with your personality and skills. If you're finding it difficult, ask your family and friends about what you are good at. That's what I did. Talk to a lot of people in different professions and see if anything interests you. If not, you can definitely go to a career counselor. And ofc, you can google different careers as well. It's okay to be lost, you'll find your path soon. All the best :")
You can also do different online courses to improve skills and learn new things, it'll be pretty helpful. Also invest in learning new languages, especially one foreign language, that will always be of help.

It would be of help during interviews plus would improve your CV as well, not to mention you're upgrading your skills too!

Hey, it was nice listening to all your experience and it's actually great that you got selected on your first attempt. I too wanna become an air hostess though but I am hell nervous that with all the what ifs. di I have some questions like if you are selected in the interview so what happens next I mean do you go to the airport and start your job or do you have training and all secondly i live in delhi and i have parents that are really conservatives so i dont think they will allow me to move in other states so is it possible that i become a member of cabin crew within living in delhi. and yeah lastly i wanna ask that do you live in hotels do you pay for it? or what are your working hours? do you have holidays? how much they pay you? and yeah the last one how do we know about the interviews and how to apply to them? pls pls replyy mee
Hey! After you get selected, you'll have a full medical check up and then your background verification will be done. After a few weeks, they'll call you and give you your base, so if you're lucky you might get the base of your choice (Delhi) or you have to move to a different city. Then they'll give you a joining date for your training. The training is for 3 months and will happen either in Gurgaon Or Bangalore. They'll give you free stay for 14 days and then you need to find your own PG. Once you clear the training, you'll start flying from your base. In case it's in another state, you need to find your own accommodation. Hotels are free whenever you have a layover in another city. I've made videos on how to apply for the interview on my channel. I gave my interview & i got rejected... you tell yourself by thinking about any introduction of yours. today you give a good introduction so that I can get an idea. So now you tell me your introduction hope that is help me. How to greet the interviewer? as a fresher? interview mistake I must avoid
I can't share my exact introduction but I can tell you the content. Start by saying good morning/afternoon, then tell your name, age, about your education qualification. Talk about your hobbies, strengths and weaknesses, and how your skills would help you become a good cabin crew. Talk slowly with a smile and it's okay if you make mistakes, just don't show the nervousness on your face. Keep smiling and answer with confidence. You can practice in front of the mirror as well. Best of luck for the next interview :")

Hey sis I have some questions,
I'm still in high school and my plan to be an air hostess
1) can I be an air hostess if my eye power is -5 I wear lenses
2) only until grade 11,is it enough for CV? And before joining flight attendant I will do a beauty course so I may be a makeup artist too
3)do we need to do the air hostess course before interview?
4) also if I have normal belly marks is it ok?
Btw I'm in UAE, I will definitely go interview In Dubai only
I can only answer these with respect to Indian Airlines, especially Indigo because I don't have proper information about the eligibility criteria of International Airlines since you'd be giving the interview in Dubai. Do check out the website of airlines you wish to apply for more information, and watch other UA-camrs to solve all your doubts :")
Now in respect of Indigo,
1. You can as long as you have a perfect vision of 6/6
2. No need to do any beauty course since you'll be taught how to groom in training. Indigo requires you to have completed grade 12 for being eligible.
3. No need of any air hostess course.
4. They won't check your belly, don't worry, they just check your hands, legs and face.

Hi, thankyou so much! To be honest, the questions they ask doesn't require a lot of preparation. Since I'm confident with my communication it was easy for me to crack the interview. You just need to study in detail about the company, it's values and understand them and try to guess the questions they might ask and write down points on how to answer them. I watched a lot of UA-cam videos to have an idea about what they ask and started preparing in advance. Hope this helped :")

Isn't it's little scary like they are rejecting a person because of their birthmarks? This is so disturbing for me to know this all like, if a person is good at his/her job than there is nothing to do with a birthmarks Naa!
Completely agree. But it's an industry where appearance and grooming plays a very important role. The crew acts as a representative/ambassador for the airlines. Hence, they are super strict with the way their crew looks like. This is probably a dark flaw about the job role :(

Hey Afsheen! I have literally nothing in my CV but I'm confident enough in my communication and management skills. I cannot just go to a walk-in-interview without a CV so I was thinking if I should join institutes like Frankfinn or others? Would you have any idea if any of your colleagues have come from such institutes or not? Because I've heard the placement from such institutions are merely a facade.
Also another silly worry - do I really have to shave my face/do my upper lips? :') they're not even visible but I've seen all the airhostesses with immaculate clear skin...
You don't have to join any Institute, it's waste of time and money. But yes, removing superfluous hair from face and body is mandatory

You can shave instead of waxing it. It's preferable to remove all hair from your hands and legs when attending the interview :")

If it's around 154 CM, you can attend interviews and hope for the best, depends on your luck to be honest. But anything below that would not be accepted. The minimum height required is 155 CM.

All depends on how well you can hide it with makeup! They won't completely reject you, they'll see if it could be hidden with makeup or not so don't worry, do your best!

Is proficiency in hindi a must for domestic airlines?(because iam only fluent in english)majority of them told only fluency in english is needed!
With respect to Indigo Airlines, it's a must to know both Hindi and English since the airline travels to North a lot. You don't have to be extremely fluent in Hindi, as long as you can manage to communicate with passengers, it'll be fine. But the HR team is very particular about candidates who do not know Hindi.

Visit a dermat and then attend the interview, they're particular about acne scars and acne.

For the interview you have to wear a skirt, as a crew we don't have trousers in Indigo

They will ask you Hindi questions for sure. You need to speak atleast basic hindi for them to consider you. In my Interview, they were asking questions to people who do not speak hindi specifically and rejected them. Just learn few important questions in Hindi if you can. All the best!

Yes fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. If you can hide the scar with concealer, then there won't be an issue.

So i had a little quary about the interview.. the quary is do they charge some refundable amount for training after the selection process?
You pay a DD of ₹50000 which will be returned once you complete three years in the company.
Also is it mandatory to have passport along with us at the time of interview, as i neither have my passport nor have opt it for
It's not necessary at the time of interview, but they will ask for the passport when you join training. So make sure you get the passport even before giving the interview for safety.
I have a problem of high myopia , -8 in my left eye will they reject me for this issue only ?
As long as you have 6/6 vision they don't have an issue. But since yours is a rare case, I don't actually know if it's okay.. But please do attend the interviews with your contact lenses!

Hey, for male candidates, you can follow this :-
1. Ensure your hair is trimmed and neatly styled. Avoid using a lot of hair products.
2. Wear formals and make sure that they are ironed properly. Your shoes should be polished.
3. You can hide any blemish or spot using concealer. Don't use a lot of makeup.
4. Make sure your nails are clean and are cut short.
5. It's best to be clean shaved.

They only check the body parts which are visible in the uniform, so back acne won't be a problem. If you can hide the bumps and scars with makeup, you're good to go :")

Indigo is very strict when it comes to tattoos, so sometimes even when people hide it with concealer, if the medical team gets suspicious, they might remove it with water. So it's pretty risky. I think it's better if you be honest with them, but otherwise, try to hide it with makeup and see how it goes. Best of luck :")

There's no correct answer but I can only tell you what not to tell. Don't say things like "I want to be a Cabin crew because it was my childhood dream" Or "because I love to travel". Tell them the qualities and skills that you have and how it matches with the qualities of a cabin crew.

I'd recommend after college, specifically after completing your undergraduate so that you have a backup in case something goes wrong with Cabin Crew.

No need to do any course regarding aviation or hospitality for joining as a Cabin Crew. You can apply directly after 12th. But I suggest you do an Undergraduate degree so that you have a backup in case something goes wrong.
