Charlie Oot&aboot at Portmahomack

Start of my Oot&aboot for June 2024 : went back to Portmahomack, a lovely spot just after Tain on the A9 :
It’s not part of the NC500 so doesn’t get swamped by vans : there’s a large car park with bins and a donation box: the beach is sand with some benches at the bottom near the hotel: local shops and very peaceful:

Drove that way to thurso on my way to Kirkwall loved it great part of the country the ferry was a experience first time at sea I'll never forget it .
Kirkwall was lovely also like the old towns we used to know take care buddy
