bigstackD Casting the crackling of the metal is soothing and the puppies make me less depressed. I am glad to have you as a time-to-time penpal. You’re truly a blessing in my like, friend.
It's really nice how you keep the eyes and nose of the skulls untouched, so they stay black like in a traditional skull. You always get some fine pieces from copper. Cheers from Argentina 😁

Whole heartedly agree. This one had not even the slightest blemish. So many of the other have pock marks or impurities even, which I just dont get. Maybe poor purity of material to begin with? Even the skull coins were such a beauty

Hey D, how have you been? I like the new skull mold. When you were putting the skulls in the water I was really surprised at the amount of heat the two tiny pieces of copper had when they touched the water. Anyways, great job with everything and as far as leaving the bottom of the ingot natural, that's almost like a trademark of yours. IMO...you the man! ❤✌
Love that reflection you put on the bars. The skulls look great. I like they still have the dark eyes and nose. That unfinished side is cool too. It's like ying/yang when you have a perfect side and imperfect side. Thinking to pick up melting myself as well.
That was one of your best pours in a long time! You showed it cooling off! Thank you very much. We needed an old school pour. I love the microwave and motor melts and the humor that comes along but a simple copper wire melt, cooling floating copper islands and the shiniest ingots can't be beat. STAY SHINY 😁
Cheers Justin I’m glad you appreciate the old school super simple basic melt. I will be mixing it up here and there but I can guarantee every two months or so if I’ll be doing just a big simple copper melt or brass or aluminium melt into a big shiny bar👌🏻😁
@@bigstackD That's great. The camera settings showing the glowing copper were perfect. All I ask is could you always show the cooling and solidifying of the metal, please? Would putting a glowing ingot on the ice ruin it somehow? That's be cool to see. Thanx ☺️

I have been to 27 country's, 3 of which I don't even remember, i have photos of me doing stupid stuff, but just do not remember being there... anyways, I have never been to Aussie land... Does the Aussie city folks get excited to see those bouncy critters, kinda like US city folks do over seeing a deer or moose checking stuff out, as well? or is this just a normal thing, that a two legged spring just goes bouncing around the city?
yes mate if you live in suburbia and you’re close to the bush there’s a good chance you’ll see one probably every couple of times you go for a walk. I live about 50 m from the bush and there’s a paddock nearby I could go to right now and see 20 or 30 sitting around doing nothing, they don’t go into the cities but they are everywhere on the outskirts of suburbia 👌🏻. they are a bit of a nuisance on country roads as for some reason they wait for the cars and then try to cross the road in front of you , you would quite often see dead ones on the side of the highway when you go for a long drive🤦🏻♂️
@@bigstackD Well, I don't know why the the stringy critters jump in front of vehicles, but here in the USA, the big game animals, (deer, elk, moose)... they see a bright light coming at them, and it is blinding to them, so they turn to run away, but then see a monsterous shadow, which is of themselves moving against the lite up back drop, which in turn, makes them turn back around, which is now, baclk towards the moving vehicle...... and... Are Aussie folks allowed to own those critters as pets, or is that just a bad idea anyway ones looks at it..?
There’s only one state in Australia where you can legally owned them as a pet although you will require certain paperwork to own one in that state, having said that I know two of my friends that had them as pets one just up the road from me and another mate who lived out on a farm had a whole heap of them but at the end of the day if you’ve got the time they might be worth having as a pet more for the novelty but you can’t really play with them too much as they just want to sit around and eat grass and do stuff all.
