I make these too! I use silk-screening though and can paint 200 in an hour. This burning laser thing is pretty cool, but really labor intensive for production. I use an ivory ink for the white and dust it with dark blue dust while wet to make it look faded. I coat the final product with flat clear or high gloss (some like it flat, some like it gloss, some even like it heavily weathered before coating) I am about ready to switch over the Halloween stuff, and already working on some ideas I have for xmas designs.

Looks pretty good, but I would expect the overlap of the masking to make the engraving a little inconsistent. Up close, could you tell? Also, how did the touch-up sanding turn out. I was thinking the same thing when you took that mask off...
