Today's squares look awesome. I loved yesterday's too. You're finding some really unique and appealing combinations throughout this project. It's wonderful how our creativity stumbles upon awesomeness sometimes.
All these squares are going to be so pretty together. I would want one of Jani Lane's 12 string guitars. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I do go semi all out, everything is from scratch. This year is homemade Hawaiian rolls, cranberry sauce (not from a can), dressing/stuffing from scratch (even the bread cubes are from my homemade breads), turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, scalloped corn (something my great grandma used to make), and not sure what else yet. This year a friend of ours is coming down from VA to visit.
Aww, I loved your Winston story. We don't have a set in stone Thanksgiving tradition but I love to cook so it's the one time of year, if I manage to find the motivation to make a big meal, I'll go the extra step of making it all from scratch. It's just the two of us here with the pets, so inevitably the fridge will be stuffed with leftovers we'll end up making meals from for the entire following week. I don't know that I have a top favorite dish that I make. I love how everything blends together. Roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, stuffing and homemade gravy are all definitely part of any proper Thanksgiving menu here though.
After my divorce I ate at the corner bar "Where everyone knows your name" 😂 years later when after my second husband passed, I made myself stuffed Cornish game hens with the fixings.
Hey Heather, my favorite is stuffing, second is vegetables, then turkey and cranberry sauce. I like all different kinds of pies, including pecan and pumpkin. I love the vecna squares. I really have liked them all , but the vecna ones really don’t need explaining. Im glad you are doing the stranger things giving, I’m really enjoying the sharing and talking. I’m cooking for a small group of family members, there will only be 10 of us this year. We’re having turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, sweet potatoe casserole, salad, rolls, cranberry sauce, and 3 kinds of pie. Apple, pecan, and chocolate. What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

I make the best Southern pecan pie! Gotta have Capt Morgan's in it and the whipped cream.

Your squares really remind of Stranger Things. My favourite coloured squares to date lol ❤

I'll be working 12 hours on Thanksgiving and the following 4 days after.
Hello Heather. I am having Thanksgiving with my family. It’s an every year ordeal 😂. My favorite are candied yams 🍠☺️🧶
