I love that sticker!!!! That's why we had to pull our 18 yr old out of HS in Sept, kids were bullying him and I was terrified he would get suspended or worse expelled. He actually finished his last 2 classes at the college. Now he's waiting for his college classes to start. Happy birthday David!!!!

I don't know why JoAnn has the care instructions that they do either... BC literally ALL of their yarns can't be machine dried, including the anti-pilling ones. But then, one of Hobby Lobby's anti-pill yarns isn't supposed to go in the dryer either. 🤷🤷🤷

I tried washing, and drying metallico from Hobbii, and it washed up nicely. What about a bulky wool acrylic mix? Like you, I wouldn't try this with cashmere or something expensive like that, but for a nice multi purpose yarn, it's nice to know if you are able to wash, and tumble dry. That was a really pretty yarn! Thank you for sharing 😁👏👏❣️

Thanks Heather! I tend to stick with acrylic because of allergies. But I do wash and dry.

Hi Heather! Hope you are doing great. The hexagon blanket is awesome! My favorite part of your channel is the movie marquee or yarn projects that you’re working on. Samantha seems to be missing but it was fun to watch her movie marquee also. I don’t have a dog But I do like them. Have you ever thought about starting a second channel just for Stranger Things? I have not seen it and I have no interest at all so I do usually skip those. If there’s enough people who love it it might be good to have a separate channel? You are an inspiration and I appreciate everything you do.

My personal focus with my crafting recently has been picking a older yarns as well as leftovers/scraps and pairing them with newer yarns I am more excited by. That way I get to play with new stuff and still have the satisfaction of rotating out older, somewhat forgotten yarns, or the little bits I've been holding onto because I didn't want to be wasteful. I've been getting a lot of older yarns used up in blanket borders lately or hats. This afternoon I'm hoping to cake up a box full of scraps from a cardigan my coworker commissioned back in January. I'll end up with a scrappy, rainbow cake that hopefully will inspire something for myself. I collect yarn labels throughout the year from any brand new skeins I manage to use in full by the end of the same year, because it helps me track my yarn usage and make a game/side quest of claiming as many labels as possible. Aforementioned scrappy rainbow cake, if I used it this month or next, will be like more labels, so I'm more motivated than I'd otherwise be to bust through it. November is going to be my month for using up 2024 remnants.
