Concept art for BOTW actually had the idea that Link and Ganondorf were friends fighting off an alien invasion (Ganondorf was even wearing a metallica shirt). That future concept also had Link in a hoodie and had him riding a motorcycle.
@ravioli man The same stuff that made OoT; Link was supposed to be in THREE timelines, past, present, and future. Future would involve space age stuff. All the super powerful Shieka tech with it's lasers and tron lines is the warmup before they finally make a game that goes into the future.

Not really true, most of their trailers have millenials in them. Singles and couples. You are right in the past, but not anymore. They dont do too many teen specific commercials probably because they know they dont have to. Teens mostly love games by default. They are definitely trying to aim their console now at adults who dont have as much time at home or are more socially free to encourage them to spend free time on gaming now that they can take it anywhere :)

Yea, only shows how much those two were wanted from the community. As a person who grew up with their games and absolutely loves them still today, I am so super glad to see that :') People still love them today
With Microsoft's stronghold on Rare, everyone thought hell would freeze over before Banjo could even touch anything Nintendo. Welp, it was definitely a cold day in hell at E3.

Every now and then I come back to this video because E3 2019 was special. The direct was legendary, as were the reactions, and this was the last time people were able to gather like this for a long, long time... here's hoping this coming E3 we'll be able to gather again, even if the crowd can only be half as big as this one.

Dragon Quest is pretty much THE RPG Series in Japan, I see both Smash reveals as a way to make both their playerbases happy; 'Hero' for the Japanese Fanbase Banjo for the Western fanbase.

While it's very easy to get caught up in the hype admist all of these new games and expansions and whatnot, I feel like we all need to take a minute to appreciate the love and hard work Nintendo has put into the switch. Like they really care! They keep fans updated, give remakes, and listen to the community. I for one am very proud to be a switch owner 😍

While it's very easy to get caught up in the hype admist all of these new games and expansions and whatnot, I feel like we all need to take a minute to appreciate the love and hard work Nintendo has put into the switch. Like they really care! They keep fans updated, give remakes, and listen to the community. I for one am very proud to be a switch owner 😍
