My tamales are in a plastic bag while braiding to keep the temper even so I don't have to worry about them. Whenever I take a break , I take my last string , go around the body and half hitch it and make sure the last 3" - 4"" are wrapped in a damp rag

I've seen many accidents happen in the equestrian world, on horse shows, on the trail and on the ranch, so even the "simplest" of horse gear needs to be well made, up for the job, to avoid unnecssary accidents. There 's no law that I'm aware of in any country that says a hobby braider can't make stuff even better or nicer than from some professionals. just so you know, I'm a hobby braider myself and pretty much everything I braid is intended for my own personal use, and since I'm ugly myself, I like my gear to look nice 🙂
