Thanks you so much, my wife put the manual in the trash by mistake. I thought I was done for
I am glad you found it helpful.
Great video, and thank you for making things so easy to understand. The best example of building this loco that ive seen.
I am glad you found it useful.
Thanks so much for this video. I enjoyed assembling the kit with you. A couple of times I missed something and was happy for you to correct me. I also snapped two pieces and was able to glue them back. The engineering of this kit is tremendous, Such tight tolerances and everything fits.
I am glad you found the video useful.
Thanks A TON for posting this video. You got me out of a few ja s! Great job!
Glad I could help!
where did you get your angled tool from?,great video by the way.
I ordered it from Amazon. It is called a Chip Lifter. Here is a selection of them. www.amazon.com/s?k=chip+lifter&crid=3C2U9GKVO4M6A&sprefix=chip+lifter%2Caps%2C94&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
Completed. Your guide was very helpful, thank you.
Quick question where can I buy a lighted stand/ base like yours?
I purchased it from Amazon. This link will provided a selection, hopfully one will suit your needs. www.amazon.com/s?k=Motorized+Rotating+Display+stand&i=garden&crid=1PZU3RCW8G1A2&sprefix=motorized+rotating+display+stand%2Cgarden%2C92&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
I discovered a fault in my build of this kit were the E18 and E17 gear assembly that links to the main wind up gear will slide from left to right making the small gear jam the larger one in front of it. When I looked closer I realised that gear tilts up slightly but due to position of the axle holes I don't see a way to straighten it up. Any advice to correct it? Only idea I can think of is too stack a bunch of washers on the axle so it can't move.
E17 and E18 are held in place by 3 P5's (Page 15 lower frame). The outer most P5's keep it centered. See section 23 (page 15), and Section 24 (Page 16) lower frame right image.
