Anyone else think CRC's Brakleen is getting crazy weak? Even compared to other non-chlorinated brake cleaner it just doesn't seem to have the same cleaning power it used to.
If you use the products from the beginning, regularly with maintenance, synthetics and fuel additives for lubricating the top-end, yes, they do work. I've got a 200K motor on a Toyota that I have personally maintained. It looks fantastic with no oil leaks. You could say I got lucky, or you could say I was diligent. Your choice. But some of those solutions work as advertised.
They work good for soft deposits but the best thing is fogging oil and sea foam
Wire Wheel make breathing in carbon particles munch easier.
Is a brass wire wheel it’s not going to make any damage or difference on the valves, valves are hardened steel
I soak engine components that are covered in carbon in ATF overnight. Breaks up carbon really well and makes cleaning so much easier.
