Materials:
- Premo Polymer Clay in: White Translucent and black: bit.ly/22rLrbg
- FIMO Liquid: bit.ly/1S05P8D
- Mica powders: bit.ly/22rLPX5 (Metallic Eyeshadows work too)
- Screw bail: bit.ly/1S06wyI

- Bake at 110ºC for no longer than 30 minutes at a time)

What a gorgeous piece! -I never thought Id be using the word gorgeous to describe a goldfish =P I really love your use of mica powders, he (or she) came out absolutely perfect! Would you mind sharing what brand mica powders you use? (I know, always with the questions lol) Thanks so much Maive!
+LitAfuseiCantStop Haha I was going to mention in the video that I don't know the brand of the mica powders because Tanja (sugarcharmshop) sent them to me. Metallic eye shadows work just as well because they are made with mica. Only, if you use them for clay, don't apply them to your eyes anymore.

your videos are always so inspiring and educational. By chance, where on earth did you get that tray for those powders? I've been looking all over the place for something exactly like that!
They're mica powders, shimmery eye shadows work just as well (just keep your crafts make-up separate from your personal one)
@@MaiveFerrando Oh thank you! But honestly, I have some powders and it was the tray surrounding them that I was curious about. Something to hold the powders on/in.

maive, beautiful work. you make it seamless! im a loyal fan. what is the clay you suggest is best?
Thank you very much. For sculpting in general, I like using Premo by Sculpey , Fimo Professional or clays like Sculpey Living Doll or Super Sculpey. For frostings I prefer softer clays like Sculpey III or FIMO Soft.

Can you use acrylic pastels for the shading part?
I don't know what 'acrylic pastels' are, but you can use acrylic paint to shade the fish after baking. You can also replace the mica powders I used for metallic eyeshadows.

Yes, they would work, but they wouldn't shimmer :)

where can you get mica powders?
+PhantomGirl1988 Craft shops or online. Pearlex is a brand of mica powders. Alternatively you can use metallic eyeshadows, they work just as well :)

Do the powders not work as well on baked clay?
Because baked clay is hard and less soft if it’s less soft it is not sticky for powders won’t really work
