I love how the crowd gets real hyped. But nothing beats the loudness at home supporting the abs! This game was awesome enjoyed every minute of it.

Game played at a frantic pace. Fantastic offloading skills on display but, also a lot of unforced errors. Still a pleasure to watch and the near capacity crowd enjoyed a great game.
Australia needs to learn how to tackle, the AB's breaking tackles like it's nothing

@@cullyx2913 I didn't even know there were any! I've always thought he was a competent enough backup for McCaw. He has been overshadowed by McCaw and Read in the past, but I think he's growing with the captaincy. I admit I was a tad surprised when I heard he was the new captain, but there were people who obviously knew a lot more about him than I did. The captaincy hasn't weighed him down; quite the opposite. He is leading by example, and his running with the ball seems to have much improved and gives the ABs another powerful attacking option.

First 5 minutes had me worried, Wallabies were high on the pressure.
The next 75 minutes were an All Blacks show
I think not having the Toomua/O'connor combination was a big blow against them. Score line might have been more flattering to them.

What an awesome game. The score does not show the intensity of the game. It's just that the Wallabies can't convert to points. Very physical game despite Australia being so lost and disorganized in the second half.

Tell ya summit this is some side forming here from the ABs. Once they get the support runners with the runner, sheesh, very, very dangerous looking. Same with the Aussies really too.
I think it has potential, but I'm a bit worried about the forward pack. They are not bad, but I don't think the Aussie forwards are very good (they do have some dangerous runners in the backs and a few useful forwards). They will improve, I'm sure, and it is a newish pack, but I don't thing the SA or Eng forwards are shaking in their boots...
Koroibete was weak as. Good on attack when he can catch the ball lol which he couldn't..but his defence looks like club level.i call them spirit finger tackles hahaha
Great to see that the Wallabies are coming back strong and are doing well under new Kiwis coach. Very lovely to see players playing with belief.

I agree 100 on Occonnor, very dangerous player. Maybe time for the Wallabies to get the Bledisloe back. The AB’s need a good kicking to make them uncomfortable.
Well at least the home town ref didn’t come into it this week and NZ won fair and square.
The aussies still complained Angus Gardiner got to ref, they still perceive him as an NZ ref for some reason haha they don’t like him at all! In their eyes he’s NZ biased apparently
BB is a great great tackler. Guess thats part of the thinking when he went from 10 to 15.

@@drisszyani3497 the ABs have a powerful pack every world cup to be fair. every world cup season our boys go in favourites and smash out the championship here then go in the world cup and smash out the pools. our exits come from a single bad game. you can't exactly shit on the ABs for having a bad night, and we should give the poms a little credit to be fair for just being better that night.

Wallabies can away a lot from both games. I think they can steal one game on home soil but still not gain the Bled. ABs only need a draw from the last two games.

I think Australia are going to be a dangerous side over the next couple of years under their new coach Dave Rennie and this is coming from an All Blacks fan. A few try scoring opportunities were lost. The next two matches are in Australia and they could still win this series.
yeh our boys in black have a long way to go too. it's lucky there's still plenty of time to the next world cup. South Africa would squish the current AB squad. Although that said I think 2020 as a year is fucking with everybody everywhere so maybe my criticism may be a bit harsh, but harsh criticism on the ABs is kinda our thing here in NZ lol
Aus defence needs some work.
Goodhue had some good touches at 1:24, 1:55, 3:46, 5:11, 7:44, 9:10, 10:30. Not his best game but people are talking like he was playing the absolute worst. Would love to see Rieko though back in 13 and Lienert Brown at 12.

Has anyone got some tips for getting into Rugby? I've seen like half a game and some highlights and really loved it so far - but I have no idea how the leagues work and my knowledge on the rulebook is shaky at best... Is there a good place to start, some kind of overview or "Rugby 101" you can recommend? One doesn't really get in touch with Rugby here in Europe...
There are 3 Professional leagues in Europe: Premiership, Top 14, Pro14. Then Champions Cup and Challenge Cup as in football. Rules are easier than what appears.

From the outside looking in - fundamental difference in the two teams appears to be the fact that the AB's backs (and forwards) almost invariably take the ball whilst moving forward into attack which draws the defence to the ball carrier. The Wallabies on the other hand appeared to move sideways and to the rear which allowed the AB's more time to move up on the ball carrier and any breakdown which occurred resulted in the AB's going forward into the rucks and mauls.
Not seeing beauden at first receiver is such a waste. Beauden super entertaining at 1st

@@zyaicob He does. Honestly Idk where this obsession with BB at 10 comes from? To anyone with decent rugby knowledge he's very VERY clearly not a natural 10. His best attribute is running hard at the line, that's not the best attribute nor should it be, of a natural 10. Also if BB was at 10 he wouldn't have been in position for any of the runs he made in this game. It's quite the opposite to what the OP said. Having him at 10 is where he is wasted (also makes our offence that much more 1 dimensional). Honestly even Mounga isn't up to scratch as a world 10 for me but still ticks more boxes in the role than BB. NZ needs a proper 10 again, not these 'run first' 'flash over fundementals' 'refuses to learn goal kicking/spiral kicking' options we have at the moment. Any other top teams in the world would have won last week via dropkick yet neither 10 even attempted one despite being 5 metres from the line. NZ's rep for producing flashy talent is actually coming back to hurt us. Too much natural athleticism/speed means no one's actually learning the basics. At the lower levels the idea seems to be just put your most athletic dude at 10 and just have him overwhelm the defence by constantly running at the line. If NZ was ever going to decline in rugby, now is the time and these are the reasons.

All Blacks, if anything, were lucky to win the 1st one in Wellington but of course, Wallabies weren't gonna win in Auckland anyways. Looking forward to the next one though

Alex looks solid, really like the balance between Alex and Tuungafasi, and they're also some of our biggest props standing almost 6'5" and are both mobile, awesome.

TBH The All Blacks made to many Mistakes!! Had we held the ball and not rushed the passes. Could off been a much bigger Score. Richie missing those conversions?#! Kept Aussie in it just like Jordie missing last weeks. Every point counts. Give the kicking duties to Bauden. He's the MAN... all in all good win boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....
