What a beautiful city. The beach looks perfect. Cool grocery store. Looks like it has everything. We met a Grocery store in Mykonos like that with the music. Cool flowers. That hand is pretty neat. What a lot of space and there is an AC in there as well. That is a HUGE steak. 😊 right on the water. Well done guys!
Ah~ you had to visit steelyard stadium. Pohang steelers is very famous in Pohang. Korean Marine and US Marine also visit steelyard stadium.
There are many kind people in Asian countries, but it's rare to find individuals as kind, warm, and friendly as Koreans as Pete said : )

It needs to be shaky so it doesn't snap. It's the same concept for tall skyscrapers which are built to sway so they don't snap.

Loved that. I think those fields we saw were rapeseed (where the oil comes from.) If you liked rail sleeper cars, you'll love vanlife. I've spent a lot of my time being 'trailer trash'. It's great, especially if you can just drive where you like. Always wanted to rent an 'Airstream', pulled by a Jeep. 😛

Instant ramen like Shin Ramyun is trash. Korea has good noodles like kalguksu(seafood, clams, anchovies, chicken, myeongdong, dumplings, perilla seeds, dried pollack, red beans, spicy, kimchi, mugwort, mung bean, beef bone kalguksu), guksu, japchae, kongguksu, Jajangmyeon, and nengmyeon.

I don't think Pete realizes how small a van really is. As a family of 3, you may be able to do it for 3 days. I'd rather rent a camper instead, although they are much harder to drive due to all the blind sights.
Or we could just pass on both and continue to prioritize train travel. 😉

Favorite scene. Pete's declaration that Korean pastries are better than in France. Did you know that grocery stores are closed on 2nd and fourth Sundays so that customers are encouraged to support traditional businesses and markets. . A little disappointed that Hays facetime was limited. Hated the ending. It was so sad. Can't wait to see if Pete convinces you to do a van trip.
