Francois Campbell They say the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result. He has been in love at least 8 times, and each time, he has gotten hurt (felt like he got robbed). Yet, he still continues to fall in love, as if he thinks this time, he won't get hurt.
It means when you're letting the same person break your heart over and over and over again..and you give them another chance..why? Because maybe..maybe today..they won't hurt me.
"I would sacrifice this body to the sky, hoping to resurrect as someone spiteful enough to not care this much about you."
"Pierce my side with a broken promise; I will bleed all the crippled reasons why you deserve one more chance."

+Daniel Garcia I was with my ex for years, engaged and everything when I found out she was cheating on me. I confronted her, obviously, what did she tell me. We love each other differently. I was like, what...the...fuck. I could make some woman joke here. But it isnt that at all. Its the fact that, like he so skillfully said, Cupid is irresponsible. But she was right, we loved differently. I, in the most literal romantic sense of the word, and her, in a twisted selfharm and low esteem sort of way. Well, be ok buddy.

Krislyn Medina It's possible to move on. I probably saw this comment 3 years ago and couldn't write anything because it took me three years to stop feeling that pain you are/were feeling. They took our hearts and left us without one. I changed into a different person after her. I almost committed suicide 5 times. I drowned myself into a bottle and drugs for three straight years. I dropped out of college because of the pain. Moved 4 times to find something new and Still couldn't run away from her fast enough. When I rediscovered who I am is when things started getting better. I still feel lost sometimes, but it's when we take our heart back, things start feeling better.
P.S. I still blame her for ruining my life. I will love again but I will never fall in love ever again.
I was terrified that of listening to this when I read the title. I sucked it up and listened anyways. Every single sentence is an accurate of a description of what I’m feeling so thank you for putting what I’m feeling into words. You’re poetry is amazing!

I remember watching this a few years ago and wondering what it would ever be like to feel this way. Coming back here a few years later and ironically now understanding...I’m glad that there are things like this that exist

What do you think of 5 and 6? I have my own interpretation but I'm not sure if I understood the lines correctly so I'm interested in other opinions as well :)

THIS is real deal down right poetry. I love the way these words come out so passionate and distinct. when You can touch a person's soul with what you love to do.. then i think you're doing it right. EXPRESSION is the one thing we have as humans and it is the most beautifully painful gift to show to the world how torn inside we are.

been watching you and reading your poetry since I was a baby bottle pop. I’m grown and realizing how hard your words hit me and I was a child. I grew to be my own lover, family, and friend. Hearing your poetry I shed tears, every time.

The emotion is so intense and real you can really tell that this comes from his heart. This is just fantastic! Bravo!

It hurts to hear how much someone once loved someone, I love it. I feel bad that good people, good guys are taken for granted like this. Such a rare gem. I can really relate.
I still remember the first night I heard this poem on the radio, in my room on a Sunday evening, on this old show called “Art and Soul” on Nigeria Info, 92.3 in Port Harcourt. Yop hosted that show and I’m super super nostalgic hearing this again almost 10 years later❤

Damn that powerful on so many levels. I mean like from the beginning to the end, it was like u couldn't help but feel his emotions run through u, it was like the words he were saying were running through my veins and I couldn't help, but let it run its course; inhaled every word that he was saying go in me, because it was like I was him for a brief moment and I could just feel the pain in his voice it was as thou it was breaking.... I've never ever been in love be for or heart broken because I wasn't in love, but it was like whenever he was speaking and I could see into his pain for a moment, it was like for the very first time I knew what it was like to be in love and heartbroken at the same time, plus it got me a little chocked up, so I thank u my kind sir for sharing that story with us

Easily one of my favorite poems. Damn this hits home. Damn this brings me to tears. Makes you really think about love and how it can destroy someone.
Out of all the slam poems I've listened to, this is my favorite. I keep coming back to this video and listening to it over and over again. I love his language and the passion that's obvious in his voice, whether quiet or loud.
I listen to this like a song, played on repeat over and over and over again, yet I can never get enough.
