Hello, I really appreciate your videos, you've helped me greatly. I'm turning 20 and I really like taking care of my cars by myself and your videos teach me well. I've seen many of your old videos where you worked on Toyotas (Avensis, Corolla). I have been trying to fix a power locking issue on my 1999 Avensis but after so many hours wasted it still doesn't work. I bought a new power locking ECU to replace the original Toyota module. I've got the car service manual and there is an entire section with wiring diagrams, but the pins on the power locking adapter aren't described anywhere. I can't find it on any of the forums. If you ever worked on this issue and/or you have the correct wiring diagrams, could you please send it to me? You would really really help me. Thank you.
@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor thank you. I actually managed to get it done today, it involved some trial and error but hell it works. Although I still have to replace the driver's door actuator or the wiring, not looking forward to that.
Excellent explanation Peter!
Many thanks!
