    This couple is in therapy to do the work…this is a therapist’s dream because the clients are leading and identifying what they need, where their wounds are. Such a beautiful therapeutic experience to witness.

    Opening up may seem like a healing thing in the moment, but it takes one fight - and I don't want to say this lady in particular because i don't know her - but any given girlfriend is likely to weaponize his childhood trauma into an insult intended to cause significant emotional damage. Many such cases.

      There's something very wrong with you. Maybe you should seek counselling to talk about the ex that did that to you to make you project it onto absolute strangers on the internet.

      Anyone with narcissistic traits (regardless of gender) is capable of things like what you described. You seem to have an unfortunate bias against women in general.

    • @lubaniskie
      @lubaniskie 3 місяці тому +3

      @@IntelligentFlame obviously any gender or sex is more than capable of immense cruelty, obviously, but women in the whole tend to be far more conscious and intentional in their almost surgical decimation of the fragile male ego, exploiting deep-seeded trauma-induced insecurities as arsenal. You often see the same behaviour in soured female friend groups, behaviour often cultivated in their teens. Like we could pretend that's not a thing, but it definitely is. For the most part, women don't tend to be too physical in expressing their contempt and thusly sharpen the tongue instead, engaging in psychological warfare and personal insults to inflict pain. Obviously you'd have to be quite sick to just pull out the most hurtful things to say to your partner out of the blue, but this often occurs when the one hurling the abuse is themselves lashing out, weaponising the trauma as an attempt to inflict deep pain as retribution for whatever they themselves are feeling at the time

      @@lubaniskie "Men are AFRAID that women will LAUGH at them. Women are AFRAID that men will KILL them."
      -Margaret Atwood
      You acknowledged your own "fragile male egos" but still want us to be responsible for its fragile state?? Women are resilient because we have ALWAYS had to be, and why do you think that is? You all are a constant threat to us and everyone around you, BOTH emotionally & physically. Men are obsessively consumed with their own desires...so much so that alarming numbers of stalkers, rapists, serial murderers & violent offenders are predominantly men. We all know that mass numbers of you manipulate women for sport-- women who've loved & supported you. And a lot of us are not willing to hold your hand and rub your back while you violate our trust and gaslight the ish out of us. I am not saying that there aren't women out there who are capable of harming others. But if you want to speak in generalities, then do the research and state the facts. Seek therapy and sort out your own emotional issues before dating. Then you might have a chance at attracting an emotionally healthy woman who has also done the work. Most women are willing to go to therapy. But most men are not willing to ask for help.

      @@lubaniskieIt's a real thing with men as well. You're not going to hear the other half on that. Men frequently use women's trauma against them. So much so, that women are also being advised not to confide previous trauma to their partners.

    Naah the doctor and the man cleverly shifted the blame from female thus making the conversation positive, guys we need to learn from this, this is how you deal with women, blame them a bit but quickly create a sorb story whereby they are blameless
