Lovely tags. I punch rows of holes first and then I cut the circles with the circle punch . This has work faster and I don,t have to mess around holding each circle and bending them.

You DO make this look so easy, which inspires me to smile because I, like so many, still struggle with layering, but watching you makes this appear simple. Thanks for that :)

I haven’t been making tags, mostly cards. Wouldn’t they look great on a card! Will have to try one. How do you use your tags?

Hello, I'm new to the crafting world so I don't really know what I'm talking about and I hope I don't offend anyone or hurt feelings because that is not what I am trying to do. These are beautiful and inspiring. I am trying to learn a new trade and the video was extremely helpful. You can't see all of the bottom layers though. For example, on the 1st layer of the first tag you can only see the top 1/2 inch. What if you only cut the strips you will see and save the rest for another project? Would you still get the same outcome?

I know this is an old question / comment, but thought I'd respond anyway - never know who might see it and wonder about the answer. The answer is both yes and know. You can absolutely do it, and sometimes it's worth it, if using something particularly rare or expensive. But a) it adds a lot of time and fussing around and b) sometimes it shows a line or ridge through on the upper layers, or the upper layers sag in the middle. Sometimes you can backfill the gap with a scrap or two of a less precious paper - I've done that once or twice when I only had a little bit of something left and needed to finish off a set or collection.
