    Fifth day on the road by myself. A near disaster in a tight back today. Really scary. Thank you for taking your time for people like me. I watch your videos over and over. Maybe they'll help me survive until I develop some skill.

    Oh my gosh if only I could watch your videos as I'm backing. They are so helpful! I'm a month in and the tight spots make me want to just leave my trailer where it's at and cry. Thank you

      Thanks, That's a good attitude to have. I still love to learn new stuff about this job. Sometimes I get a little embarrassed that I didn't learn something sooner. In a lot of cases, if nobody tells you, you never new there was an easier way to do something.

    Your videos are what I am looking for since a while. Perfect and amazing.
    I was looking to understand the truck trailer movements, especially the backing. And what you did and you are still doing is great. Good luck man.

    Blind side make more sense in this case. You have no trailer or truck to hit so you might as well do a blind backing.

  • @By_Any_Means_Necessary

    Maybe try using driver and passenger side instead of left or right because there so many different angles we are looking at would be easier

    Wish I had seen this before having a difficult back today in Harrisburg, PA. I was told I would need to blind side it, but now I see I could have probably used this technique. The 'Difficult Backing' section of your website had a very similar setup. I did get it with the blind side but needed at least 5 pull ups to get it right. Sure, I only have 5 weeks of experience driving now, but practice makes perfect!
    If this link works, I was backing into the dock at the northeastern end of the building where there is currently a trailer. It was a drop and hook so take that trailer out and put the empty one in it's place.. Here's the link: goo.gl/maps/9f6TuoYgzEX5rfgS9
    Seems to be the same concept and next time I go there I'll try it. Thankfully there was little traffic there. I was also told that sometimes there may be a box truck in the spot next to it so I'd be backing between the stairs and the truck.

    • @MyTruckingSkills

      I will have lots of levels that will be just like that dock in the game.

    Hi, Can you plz explain How to back up at truck stop, which is always pretty much 90 degrees.

    • @MyTruckingSkills
      @MyTruckingSkills  5 років тому +1

      Don't ever do a 90 if you can do a 45. This video is a 45. Watch all my videos and then come back to me. I explain everything

    • @MyTruckingSkills

    I look forward to watch your videos, because I'm sure you'll bring up new tips, ideas and amazing visuals, please put more work on your titles, keywords tags. thumbnails, and maybe add subtitles to attract the attention and bring more views and subscribers, hack into youtube alogarithm by using a language that youtube system will understand to know what's the subject and content of your videos, also use the description box, to make youtube know the content of your videos, marketing is important to reach the masses, you deserve to have at least 100 k subscribers by now.

    • @MyTruckingSkills
      @MyTruckingSkills  5 років тому

      I wish i could do this full time, it is exhausting working a full time job and doing this. Im sure i would do a lot more. i do use tags and nobody every reads the description anyways. But so far this video is doing better than any video ive ever done before is this length of time

    • @mohamedsadik8210
      @mohamedsadik8210 5 років тому

      My Trucking Skills thanks a lot for your efforts and time, writing a description is good to give the UA-cam algorithm an idea what's the subject and content of the video, making good titles and keyword tags is very important.

      Depends on the state and weight. I've just learned to back with however they are or adjus them for the dock back and then just readjust them for take off. Unless you're talking about non sliding. You just have to deal with the situation given to you, we are payed to fit tight places.
