This a really lovely cemetary. I like that someone at sometime documented the gravestones. Thank you for the link. I hope you and Bex have a Happy Valentine's Day!
Often the township will have a list of all the graves. Some historians even map them for posterity. Seems a bit remote the way it's positioned but the view is very nice. Appreciate you braving the weather to share.
What a beautiful old place. Another great episode. Thank you muchly for sharing. 👏
Glad you enjoyed it
Great episode! Thank you all very much!🥰👍😎
Our pleasure!
Thank you! Such wonderful history, stones and graveyard. Love the ruins of the kirk. Such a beautiful view of the bay. Take care!
It’s would have been a nice place to end up. And no doubt very exclusive.
My ancestors were Scottish. I am so proud of that. If you come across the name McElyea that's me.❤ thanx for a beautiful video.😊
Wow! Awesome…. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. So much history…
Glad you enjoyed it

The document we linked was a proper labour of love for someone.
What a lovely wee place. Thanks for including the booklet, will go have a read.
Hope you enjoy it! We thought it was brilliant. Not as much fun as trying to work it out for yourself though.
@@PlacesForThePast Had a quick look last night and it's very interesting, will continue reading later. No I bet 😀
Really interesting video and thank you for sharing the pdf.
The PDF is really interesting. A proper labour of love for someone.
Fantastic video
Thanks again
@@PlacesForThePast my pleasure
What a pretty place!😊
It really is! That whole part of the coastal path is lovely.. or at least interesting.. lots of Victorian engineering a bit further along.
Try using a torch to read the inscriptions I do this and it works well. Lovely old graveyard and stones 👍
Thanks. We’ve seen Sue do that, and we’ve shamelessly nicked the idea :)
@@PlacesForThePast lol lots of people do it
It’s one of those things that really works. Now to go back to all the places we’ve been and read them properly :)
Fantastic, thank you !! You don't hear the phrase "wee graveyard" very often 😊😊
Stick around.. you will 🤣
Not in Canada .... 😊@@PlacesForThePast
Another very interesting church and churchyard. Do you ever do grave stone rubbings to try and decipher the most intriguing ones?
I haven’t, but I’m noticing there are sometimes easier to see in the videos so may try photography and then enhancing the image.
There is nothing that we build today that would last over 250 years.
That's depressingly true. Well there is all the plastic rubbish, that'll outlast us all.
Malaya akong nanonood kuya😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stunning place to lie forever xx
Absolutely, and what a view.
What an awesome place, a lot of super old graves, I'd like to know what some of them say
There’s a PDF linked in the description. Someone’s labour of love.
@@PlacesForThePast Thanks 😊
