Absolutely love this show. What doesn't get enough credit about Deadliest Catch are the scenic shots in my opinion. The beautiful "in between" shots of the ocean, mountains, weather, kinda hard to explain. But where they fish is Absolutely beautiful yet Scary at the same time. It's amazing

I know there was no ice in this one but I got to thinking, why hasn't someone come up with a de-ice coating for decks and rails? Or a way to heat a ship's surfaces somehow to keep ice from forming? Ice has been the cause of so many fatalities in the Bering Sea -- not to mention chopping it is one of the worst parts of being a deckhand. There's a million-dollar idea there somewhere.
