I've been binge watching your content for weeks now! Since I've stopped using gel this summer and started taking better care of my nails, your videos came recommended at the right time. They are so informative and helpful. It feels like my nails are getting healthier with every video I watch lol
I recently stopped using gel. My natural nails are really healthy, but I’m looking for a long lasting non-gel. Right now they’ve been cut down, so I can grow them back from scratch. My nails can get really long

Anna, I have problems with both of my thumbs having stretched nail fold skin sticking to my nails. I have watched and listened to your advice on fixing it (gently pushing back a little bit at a time each day and moisturizing). It is painful for me so I’m taking very tiny baby steps for several days now and it’s getting better ❤
Are you using Kerasal? It will help to exfoliate the stuck skin. Is your skin very elastic but stuck or very hard and dry and stuck?
@@TheSalonLifemy skin is dry and folds tend to crack. There is no give in the skin that is stretched. I have no idea why it gets this way. I do suffer from dry skin overall. Should I get the Kerasal? I looked at them on Amazon and there were various ones.

Pushing back the living skin was so satisfying, my living skin has bounced back. Now it just cracks every so often, still using urea creams and nail oil. I just goota maybe stop doing my nails with gel polish but I'm scared of other nail polish on them. I like the hardness of gel polish but probably what isn't helping my living skin to breathe.
the skin doesn't need to breathe :)

You can buy magnifying glasses on a stand which you can adjust and position it over your hand.
I tried it and I had to do too much adjusting when working with clients. Client's hand is not always in the same distance either. Not to mention clients hit everything, especially when the nails are wet lol.
I hear that working on your own nails it can be very helpful :)
