For me, using a gaming controller on the PC made a huge difference. My son seems to do better with the mouse and keyboard. I haven't tried fishing on the Xbox or PS version yet. Legendries are definitely a pain and can take quite a bit of practice before you start to get the hang of it. I wish I could offer more... just keep at it.
