Intimadating work. You helpped me with my skidoo. Today. Your other video on float height saved me time as I was pushing against the shock asorber if you will and measuring from the gasket. Lol took it off and did it properly now thats some information no one could of taught me. Keep up the great work.

Just a little advice on easy removal of these carburetors. And they are even easier to remove on the CB550 because the clutch cable is reoriented on that model.

26mm from under head to end of bolt. I used a washer also. One important note. The head will need a lot of heat before those original studs will come out. Try to do it right after a long ride.

How much torque did you put on the screw for the carburetor bowls?

Hi @Mike Nixon, what is the length of the bolt you used to replace the studs in the cylinder head?

@@mikenixon4637 20mm is too short and 25mm seems to be a little bit too long even with washers

@@abencomo Then something is wrong. 26mm is what I have. And of course I have washers.

@@mikenixon4637 In that case, let's attempt to tighten the 25mm bolts. What amount of torque did you apply to them?

@@abencomo Same as any 6mm bolt in aluminum: 85 inch-pounds.
