We’re hoping to be at Q this year. I’ll be very interested in your clear coat solution. My bus needs the same around the roof. For the long extension / breaker bar solution, I use a 10 ton jack stand to rest the extension on, raising and showering for the different lug positions while torquing to 500 ft lbs. It’s not as conveniently portable as what you have made, but hopefully I never have to torque a lug nut while on the road.
The roof was bothering me since I bought it. A beautiful bus with bad hair lol😂 I have also tried the jack stand but it sits too far from the wheels requiring long extensions. The longer the extensions the more flex. This support allows me to get close yp to the wheels. Great you are goi g to "Q"!
