    Great! Thanks for sharing.. I'm giving it a shot already today.. I've tried some green alien blood, but I'll go on to the red blood effects now.. Yours look amazing.. I've seen some use spray paint, but in my opinion they lack the details and texture of the acrylic versions.. So thanks again.. I'll heat up the glue gun right away.. :-)

      I think the green blood would be perfect for your collection of predators! I look forward to seeing the end result of your project!

    I just tried this and the hot glue stuck to the wax paper, so not sure if I need thicker paper or what. I might just go buy a cheap non-stick pan or cookie sheet from the dollar store and try that. I did get a couple of ok splatters, just waiting for the paint to dry on them. I'll keep practicing and hopefully get some really good splatter FX.

    Very cool effects,goin to try to make some flames the same way. Ty for the post. Very helpful as i just started my hot glue 🔫 shooting. Like the way you drug out the fine edges and tips. It your glue gun a hot temp or low temp??

      Nora Gami super glue, or the hot glue gun. Maybe even mount the paper to a wall.so it will automatically drip down

    So I tried this, but it keeps sticking to the wax sheet? How long am I supposed to wait before pealing it off?

    • @geekinthecloset5
      @geekinthecloset5  8 років тому +1

      It took only around 15 seconds for the hot glue to cool. Perhaps you can try to cool it down under a fan or maybe you need a different kind of wax paper.

    blood gets darker after a while. at first its a bit brighter than what you have there. its honestly fine but if we're getting technical here. I've helped do hundreds of surgeries.
