Comfort print isn't large print. It might be a bit easier to read because of spacing between the letters and lines, but it still needs to be at least 12 point, especially for the main text. The one thing I appreciate about the way this Bible seems to be presented is that there are no dates (January 1, January 2, etc.) you have to stick to. The usual Chronological Bibles have those pesky dates and I found I was always trying to keep up with the daily reading, and not actually getting any valuable study done. Yes, reading the Bible every day has definite benefits. But I'm a student at heart so it's difficult for me to try to read without the usual highlighting and underlining and marks in the columns. :)

You did an excellent job on this Review. I'm glad you showed both the NIV and NKJV versions. I purchased the Hardcover NIV version. This Study Bible feels so nice! Your description of the paper as, -- "silky" is very accurate -- that is exactly how it feels. And the pages are full of beautifully laid out information so that it appears a little busy, but I truly love this Bible all the same. I'm so glad I purchased the Hardcover because it is exactly the same look with or without the jacket covering. Have a great day! 🤗🌟
His vids are great. You should also check out the channel Bible Believing Christian. Between her and Randy you won’t need any other review channels because they’re the best.
Good review as always Randy. This Bible looks very nice and from your praise, well made. In the previous version of this Bible Job falls in epoch 6 instead of epoch 1. Considering Job is considered the oldest book in the Bible, and most likely a contemporary of Abraham., I find it odd that they didn't put it in the first epoch near Abraham. Most of the chronological reading plans I have seen have the book of Job after Genesis 11. Has this translation fixed this or did they leave Job in Epoch 6 at page 901? I hope they fixed it as I'd love to just sit down and read chronologically instead of having to keep track of what to read next.
Thanks for reviewing these. I've been reading through the 24/7 Bible this year. It's my first chronological reading of the Bible and I've gotten so much out of it. I'm looking for an ESV or NKJV chron study Bible for 2024. Have you seen there's a new ESV chron study being released in October?
What chronological study bible u recommend for detailed study? Cos i wanna purchase just 1 bible ~ is the one year NLT chronological study bible good? Or do u have other recommendation?
If you just wanted to read, you wouldn't need the study notes. There's a few chronological bibles out there that wouldn't have busy pages, just scripture.
Thank you for the detailed review. I own the NLT One Year chronological expression Bible. I love it because it is divided by months. I read it this year for the second time. I have been thinking of buying this Bible in the NKJV, but I am still undecided. Are you familiar with The Hebrew Bible, a translation by Robert Alter? If you are aware, what is your opinion?
I know of it, but I don't know much about it. The best information I've seen is from Mark Ward in his review of Alter's book on Bible translation - ua-cam.com/video/i4ceFyzzOCg/v-deo.html
I'm not sure what was revised. I have the older edition packed away. I plan to get it and do a comparison. GDM is grams per square meter. It measures the thickness of the paper. Epoch is a large period of time.
Good question. I think there's value in studying both. Choosing just one will depend on the manuscripts and translation philosophy you prefer. For studying the translations, I recommend looking through this site - www.bible-researcher.com/index.html

Thanks so much for doing this! I love watching this.
Your videos are so informative and great, I am surprised that you have relatively small number of subscribers.
Thanks! I don't actually push for subscribers. I don't even remember to mention it.

@@BibleBuyingGuide Thanks for letting me know Randy. It's much appreciated.
It's too bad that the font is 9.5. Too small for me. They don't think that more and more people have problems with their eyesight. 😕
Great overview, appreciate the video!
Look to the comments on Amazon about the study notes in this one before making a decision to purchase this one .......
Good to know. Thanks!

That reminds me of the Great Adventure Catholic Bible by Ascension Press.
Very nice. Would love that.
Do you know the NLT Chronological Life Application Study Bible? I'm trying to compare it to this one to see which one is better..
I have one on the way.
Great review
why is it not an in depth chronological order? is it correct in chronological order? Thank you
What does GSM stand for? What is epoch? Do you know what was revised?

@@BibleBuyingGuide thanks for the info and your time. I look forward to your comparison. 👍
Oh, I wish this came in ESV!
Pastor Randy,
Any "news" of it printed on kjv?
I'll check.
