I used to work in Coweta County back in the 1980's in the forestry industry,. Senoia had a couple of gas stations-convenience stores down by the 2 lane highway. The downtown was all those old brick buildings boarded up. Nothing going on in Senoia, last time I went there people all over walking downtown, restaurants, shops , etc. Glad to see it's revival, Hollywood money and Atlanta sprawl doing amazing things
You damn right, GA is eating good with Hollywood based here now. Anyone mad about that, I can’t understand because it equates to prosperity and economic growth
Also, those were the houses that were in The Walking Dead. The reason they took the walls down was because the production of The Walking Dead was over and they no longer needed to film at that location.
I live in Senoia and have lived here for about four years, to correct you on the buildings that they were using to film. People actually live there while they were filming and got paid to not come out of their house while in production of The Walking Dead.
Umm that’s not true… the houses have NEVER been lived in or sold to anyone yet while they were filming the show. They just put them up for sale after the series wrapped and had them repainted and fixed up for the new home owners.
@@eden20111 not totally true. There were a few families living in some of the homes. They bought before the decision to film the show in that neighborhood was made.

Sorry about that! It’s been a few years since we watched The Walking Dead🤦🏻♀️
The downtown area was used for Woodbury and the subdivision across the street and over the train tracks was used for Alexandria.
