Your description of what happens to the face when you add loft is incorrect. The head does tilt straight back; it does not tilt back and close. However, in tilting back, this lowers the back end of the club. The face angle only closes if, rather than addressing the ball with the new low point of the club in contact with the ground (ie near the back of the clubhead) the player addresses the ball with the club grounded as it would be in its neutral setting. In order to get the club into this position, the head rotates closed around the shaft. However, in doing this, the player also negates the loft change they have made.
Cobra new adapter is going to be a game change for fitters, golfers are now in my opinion get a better fit driver. I got to admit this is a great looking driver and I have not thought about hitting a Cobra driver since the RadSpeed which I hit pretty good and enjoyed, might have to consider this for my next. I really am wondering if this new adapter is going to also be in the fairway woods and possibly hybrids. Love all the content and can't wait to see what next
