I just extracted a BIGHORN OUT OF AN INVADED DZ !! There was a level 3 manhunt chasing me 😂😂 i popped an extraction and ran into a Landmark and hid to let the timer run down on my chopper extract i then wrapped around the landmark and as a team ran up on the manhunt chasing me i threw it on the line and the helicopter flew away 😂 my heart was POUNDING !! 😂😂 it was fucking AWESOME !!

I've bagged 2 Ninjabike messenger backpacks running territory control points, also multiple st. Elmos running control points, scorpion shotgun, shocker holster, no need to run the dz unless you want the ravenous or eagle bearer. It's good to keep searching. Have fun, peace

I'm pretty sure the control point will need to be at alert level 4...
@nvshock3r586 yea it will need to be for the boss to be named and get a chance at an exotic. It can drop otherwise, but it's an extremely low chance.
Either way, I've found the summit on heroic is the most efficient way.

As someone coming to the game long after season is complete- do I need to have completed the man hunt/leveld my current season/completed prev manhunts for Elmos to drop? I am farming countdown for currency and hate to open the caches with no chance until i hit x season level/complete prev manhunts.
Most exotics are given after missions,without them presenting themselves after missions.
The elusive are eagle bearer and the ravenous.
I got St Elmo's right now. Out of the blue and to my surprise. On The Summit and playing Heroic (floor 50).
I am so happy!
I got mine on normal aroubd floor 70-80, as a completion drop at the top of the screen. How rare on this difficulty?

Since I foolishly deleted my Catharsis mask when not paying attention during a stash clear out a month ago; I've ran countdown, summit, done the projects and had to no avail it never dropped; just watched Tux video, did today's resource drop for the exotic cash.... IT FINALLY DROPPED, IT ISNT GOD ROLLED BUT THE CATHARSIS DROPPED!!!!!

You can get Dodge City Holster from exotic cache, even if you didn't do the mission.
I got it on normal difficulty in the summit after doing about 25 floors. Some random NPC dropped it, it wasn't even a boss. I was trying to do challenges

I never got any exotics except the ones from caches for the weekly projects... Im playing this game for years and i literally NEVER had an exotic drop !!!
Can I get st elmos without doing the season pass? Or have you gotta get it out the season pass first? I only just came back to the game after a long break, I cba to get to the end of the season pass lol
You only need to do the 90 levels of the actual season (no need the season pass) or have so much lucky for a exotic loot box. The season ends in 2 weeks.
Question: I used to have multiple god-rolled/optimised exotics (Memento, Scorpio, Capacitor, Coyotes, Catharsis, Pestilence, ...) Most i have double and are used on my 2 main characters. When the expertise system came out, i tried differentiating as many different builds on my 2 mains as i could, yet certain exotics are still used by both main characters. I leveled up the most important ones (Memento, Scorpio, Capacitor) to lvl 14 on both characters. But now i am stuck. I could keep just 1 of each, and transfer the items to the stash after every game, yes, but that is a real pain in the ass to keep track of which item is on which character etc... How do you guys do this? Please help!!!
It takes up too much inventory to save more than one exotic. I use all extra toons as mules only. One for gear sets. One for exotics, BP and chests. The other for everything else. Then my Main and stash for most commonly used.
@@TuxedoBandido Thanks for responding Tux but 1 character (with 16 builds) is just not enough. So i have 2 mains (which is quite nice as it allows me to do 2 full manhunts every season) and so I build 1 main mostly for solo-play and 1 main mostly for goupe-play. That leaves 1 mule for named weapons and green gearsets, and 1 mule for white god-rolled weapons and lesser used gear. Note: I also use that 4th character as a "resource-mule" doing a few 30-40 runs every few months or so in between seasons.
So when you say "It takes up too much inventory to save more than one exotic" ... that's exactly what i was affraid you'd say: I suppose i will just have to try and remember to put all "common exotics" back into my stash everytime i quit playing, to avoid "missing items" next time i log in with my other toone... Makes sense ...but it is a pain in the butt^^
So now i have a fully optimised Memento expertise lvl 14 which i don't need anymore. And a fully optimised Scorpio lvl 14 which is also useless.... (yes, have 2 of them, max rolled, and going to keep them for now just for convenience until i reach expertise lvl 16 or so) But tell me, how come Ubisoft/Division 2 can manage different skills on different characters with the expertise system scaling on all characters without any problem whatsoever but they cannot level 2 identical weapons .... ;-) ...I don't expect an answer 'cause I know you're not part of the game or the dev's,... it's just frustrating
If I’m correct the BlueScreen, Dread Edict, and the Catharsis are still bugged and cannot drop from targeted loot pool until you get blueprint and you cannot get the blueprint and you cannot get blueprint until you get it to drop.
Not true at all I've gotten all of those from countdown targeted loot as a new player
Only ones that aren't added until you get the blueprint are the quest ones (chatterbox, liberty, nemesis, ridgeways pride and the dodge city holster) I've heard of people getting the capacitor before getting it from the summit missions so I Don't think that one counts. If you have a friend that dropped any of those for you before completing the quest they will NOT be in the loot pool and usually you can't obtain the quest items for it until you deconstruct that item because it bugs the game out into thinking you did the quest already.
@@bobafett109 I never got any of them from countdown I ended up with 12 Vile mask and 15 Coyotes it’s an odd bug in the game bc some people reported like you getting them in countdown and some people like myself never saw them from countdown at all. My idea was that the people that played season 9 who got one of them from when they were accidentally in the loot pool bugged their own loot pool
Very new to div 2 managed to get shd rank 30 in two days my exotic luck in countdown is so bad! Im on challenging and nothing drops for me

Yes. Unless they’re behind a quest or raid.
Am i right in thinking if you didnt get Ninja Bike Backpack during its introductory season then you cant get it that season or next. (until added to loot pool)?

I didn’t get it during the previous season or what ever and just recently got it to drop during a countdown run.
It's in the targeted loot pool. All items are usually put into the loot pool weather or not you play the season. St. Elmos is already in the loot pool I got one at season level 5
Memento backpack is driving my crazy I’m getting every exotic multiple times and still no memento
Trying to get a Ninja's bag to drop for the past week and a half, and that shit just doesnt want to drop lol.... St. elmos since coming back to Division 2, probably dropped on my 2nd day back in the past couple weeks.

Best bet, countdown on Challenging, set targeted loot to Assault rifles for chance to drop exotic. Use the currency you gain from that game mode to buy exotic caches at countdown vendor.
Don’t mean it as a brag. But i got a decent st elmos after 4 exotic cache. God is good. Divison devs are alright with me.
Lol.... I got my first exotic is st elmo rifle from exotic cache bought from descent... Lol... Not sure it's good or not because I'm a new player in division 2...so I just use it... Lol... My 2nd one is kneecap ninja then 3rd is cayote mask....
Just hit lvl 40, played my very first countdown got a god roll chameleon, a St. Elmo’s fallowed by another chameleon. I got beyond lucky on that run.
Did you walk into countdown with no build at all ? ... I just hit lvl 40 yesterday and im to afraid to go into anything thats not open world cuz i feel like im lacking dps to clear... What Difficulty were you on ?
@@H4rdy_- yeah brother just go in and start, I put it on challenging because that’s the quickest way to get into a game anyway and I would start by putting your targeted loot for an assault rifle like I did and don’t be afraid to ask for a carry and let them know that you need to be carried lol.

absolutely. Or farm countdown, set target loot to assault rifles, and also use earned credits from countdown to buy exotic caches at countdown vendor.
@@TuxedoBandido thanks man ,I just got back in the game after a year and a half long break and let me tell you, countdown is broken , it has completely changed the game for me , I can put a maxxed build together with 10 hours of farming when it used to take like 40 , I'll grind the fuck out of it
100+ floors of Summit, 9 Countdowns, countless OW bosses.... and still no St. Elmo's. I've given up at this fuckin point

hours of count down. Often I’ll get two or three but then I buy nothing but exotic caches
How do you mod exoctics I’ve seen a player with the st Elmo’s ar have 91 in his mag for it.
You can’t change the mods. He used either Brazos or True Patriot gear to get bigger mag size.

bro I have one for each of characters I re-rolled all of them to DTO except for one, i rate fire on that bitch, it ain’t to bad, i jus use the foxes prayer kneepads for the damage to target out of cover, still hit pretty good👍🏿👌🏿👊🏿😎

Broken on xbox kicked 5 times trying descent.
st elmo dropped for me in The Summit heroic with 2 directives active.
It dropped from a regular elite enemy.
Then I rolled it once and got it FULL GOD rolled, it was amazing.
Still hunting for the Ouroboros though.

Once you get an exotic item for the first time, you unlock its blueprint and can buy it from the Base of operations (dont remember the vendor name). Then you can re-craft it using your current exotic and hoping you get better stats rolled on it.

Exotic drop! what the hell is that... lol...I haven't seen an exotic drop in months. These days the only way I get an exotic is thru caches or the level 30 character run.

St. Elmos drops in Targeted loot on countdown i got one at season level 5 wayyyy before i got the seasonal rewards one and the blueprint. Just set your targeted loot to AR. Theres only a few exotic ars that can drop so it's usually the chameleon or St. Elmos. Just did the capacitor quest recently but have yet to have one drop. 85% of the time it's a st. Elmos
