I think the reason they removed their ages is because they wanted players to relate more to the soul riders and there is a wide range of ages that play sso.
I've been thinking the same too 🤔 I mean, it doesn't really matter how old they are anyway, but as a theorist and a sucker for lore, I need to know it all 😂
Hey Eleanor, I feel like you should do a theory on Hermit because at the end of the Nightdust questline he talks about the druids (which is weird because he probably shouldn't know about them) and he gives you a magical-looking saddlepad that has an actually animated moving galaxy pattern just like Nightdust's coat, and when he gives it to you he says that it's special and that you shouldn't lose it. I know that this quest is multiple years old by now and the questline has gone untouched and unmentioned by the developers for a long time, but I think that this is really mysterious and theory-worthy.
@@DogDogGodFog I think Hermit is friends with Rhiannon, Rhiannon is the person who gives you the Rune horse and she is friends with the souls riders so it might be something like that

@@stormknight6442 Alex being an Aries makes way more sense than Leo. As an Aries myself I can see it, especially when comparing Cardinal vs Fixed quality. I think the others having Fixed signs was more to space them out and give them different elements rather than to show a special meaning. I think too that soul riders are around 18. Time is very mysterious in sso. Maybe Pandoria affect all Jorvik more than we think. And interesting age in this game have Avalon too. I think Anne would be younger by about a year since she was stuck in a pink crystal for the longest time I could remember. Lisa was in Pandoria for less time so it would make sense that her age wouldn't have changed.
It's starting to seem we're in some SSO multiverse situation. There's the no longer canon SSL universe, the no longer canon SA universe, the no longer canon SS universe, the old possibly canon SSO universe, the Mistfall universe, the book universe (which takes place in the current universe) and this, current universe. Eleanor, I was doing one of the main story quests, the one were we had to save Lisa from Pandoria, and she basically said something like, "Things haven't been this crazy since Freshman year." So the soulriders must have been 14 or probably 15 in Starshine Legacy. So if there is a two year gap, they are 16 or 17. I hope this helps! :)
I feel like SSO was a golden apple, it had so much potential. but the new team/developers are hollowing out the apple and filling it with dog turds. They're re-writing the backstories and erasing the old game now.

It's interesting, what I do think is that nowadays the books are defenitly canon. The old games were made without taking all the new quests etc. in consideration. I think we can't fully count the old games canon nowadays anymore. Some of the events in the books are really alike the old games but not exactly. Lisa her age is mentioned in the first book, it's not too big of a spoiler so Im just going to say it here, in chapter one it says she is 15 years old. I don't know exactly where it was said anymore, but didn't Alex mention something about those events that happened 2 years ago? That would indeed make them 17 or 18 now. Not sure about how much time we spent in jorvik since the start of our questline, maybe half a year. At least 3 months, since we came in summer and also did the light ride in fall.

But is Linda were to be 20, she would have long sense graduated in any country and not be in the same grade and classes as the rets of the Soul Riders as thats what seems to be the case in all the games regardless of their official ages. 😱😱😱 I haven't seen that, it must be new! I've always wondered what she's up to. There's a guy in Cresant Moon Village too that acts kind of like her. He seems to be hiding between the houses and watching someone or something, and when you get close he'll hide (I can't remember if he turns around or if he coves his face 🤔)
Theory: at the beginning of the game, they say we are only staying for the summer. But, that turns into a year. Star stable made the game so it had levels, for riders and horses. You know those quests that you have to wait to do? Well, every time we level up by doing multiple-day and main story quests, a year has passed. Same with horses, except a year passes when they become more experienced. So, technically my character is 15. But, the soul riders aren’t actual players. I’m guessing star stable made it like this so they would cover up the mystery of their ages, due to the star academy and star shine legacy games saying the girls were always around 16. My final statement is within the soul riders’ name. *SOUL* riders. What I’m saying is, they might be immortal, like Fripp, but their souls and appearances remain the same, heroic “16” year old girls, even though they may be hundreds of thousands of years old. Thank you for reading!
Im just stop asking about anyting in this game. This story is messed up more than star wars lore. My sanity say no to this. I have problem with this for years becouse change anns's story. Mabey its a translation but ann was trapped in pandoria for two years and then they change it on two months. They could be older becouse theu are still relatable becouse they dont look old.

She has a sign over her head? 🤔 you mean the one who seems to be stealing flowers, right? And stands up when we get close?
@@eleanornightwalker yes i mean this girl. She has an exclamation sign . It seems that she has a quest for us.
@@eleanornightwalker oh interesting! I wonder what is this all about...
I think that they're from 16-18 years old

Thank you for reading!
why didn't you credit the comment that asked you this?
What age is our character
Probably same age
hey I found something suspicious, In big bonnys H.O.R.S.E. log it says not clearly, that she starts working at the dark core oil rig!!!
Im just stop asking about anyting in this game. This story is messed up more than star wars lore. My sanity say no to this. I have problem with this for years becouse change anns's story. Mabey its a translation but ann was
trapped in pandoria for two years and then they change it on two months. They could be older becouse theu are still relatable becouse they dont look old.
Noice
who cares what age they are i just like playing funni hors gam
It's for the lore! Lore is life!
