The problem with generative fill by photoshop is that it has a watermark. I don’t know if it’s ok to remove the watermark or Adobe has a way of tracking it.

Great video. But one issue I see that you failed to mention. Adobe makes it clear that you do not have commercial rights to any image you create using Photoshop Beta. So, even though it will be a great tool when they make it live, for now, we have to "keep our powder dry" when it comes to sellng any image we create with Photoshop Beta.

I wanted to add a disclaimer here. I use photoshop daily for my job and I've tried to use Photoshop Beta for fun and I tried generating more background to a picture with a blurry background and one with a sharp foreground in high resolution. The problem is, high resolution image with sharp foreground that goes beyond the side of your picture, the new generated sides to your pictures will be super pixellated and blurry. The grain of your image will not match your original image. It sadly only work with blurry background or if you hide it by transforming your image to a painting style. I haven't tried the transforming to painting style if the final photo will be enough high resolution, I do need to try it. I really hope Photoshop will find a resolution to this problem.
Enjoyed the video and I do have Photoshop but hadn't used it in a while so I updated and figured I would give it a go. I used a photo my daughter took of her beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I selected just the dog and tried both 'Van Gogh', and 'oil on canvas'. So far the AI has turned the dog into a vase, a scroll, and now a cat. I saved the cat one because I had just selected the head that time and now it's a dog with an oil painted cat head. I'll keep trying to figure it out but hard to do if I'm on the floor laughing.

I am following your instructions but every time I press the color fill, it puts a red tiny over the entire image, and then doesn't show the generative fill option. Think i am missing a step, I am using the beta?
Press Q again to remove the red mask and the GF will appear.

Do you think this market is over saturated though? Even before auto generate, people were already doing this with Photoshop effects you can purchase for less than $15, thus performing this action in a mere click. Tons of people on Etsy are doing it. So should I bother, or does the market have too many sellers on this?
You can add value by adding items or manipulate the images using Photoshop AI. Couldn't be done before unless you do it manually.
@@jasonleefinance Have you noticed in terms of service that commercial use of Photoshop AI is not permitted? I just realized this last night. I mean, I guess you can tell people to go against Adobe's terms of service and risk it if you want to lol, just letting you know so you could disclose that to people.

Everyone and their pet hamster is selling digital crap on Etsy now due to AI. As a result, it's nearly impossible to make any money on Etsy. There's a zillion youtube vids promising great wealth by opening an Etsy store. Regardless of how saturated an Etsy niche is, you're still competing with millions of sellers and even more products on Etsy. Trust me, don't waste your time or money.
There will always be competition in the world, no matter what it is, its how you set yourself apart that matters.

Not really lol because a lot of people keep getting banned, don’t know how to niche down, don’t know how to find niches, be consistent, build a brand, there’s tons of digital product niches, the average seller on etsy is single moms age 35 - 39 years old and people are still trying to go heavy on shopify lastly people don’t know how to avoid bans etsy is rarely talked about ect but go off lol.

Does this only work with PhotoShop or can it work with another illustrator app like Gimp? If not, are there other tools that can produce the same or similar results, without using PhotoShop? Thanks for bringing useful content.
