Good solid rifle, Vernon. One of the nicest budget hunting rifles on offer, going by your review.
I have one chambered in 270wsm. I was getting groups like that aswell. Then I discovered the 2 bolts that hold the stock on had worked almost completely out of the synthetic stock. Since then I put a Boyd’s stock on it and I get 1/2 groups all day long.

I have a youth model in 7mm-08. The bolt is smooth. I think this is a better rifle than a savage axis or mossberg patriot. I think it very close to a ruger American 2. Downside of this rifle is it is not threaded. It is a good priced hunting rifle. That’s what it is designed for (hunting).

I’m purchasing one in 300 win mag from a local pawnshop the rifle looks brand new and has a really nice vortex scope but I was reading that there’s a recall on them how do I know if the one I’m getting has been through that process already or should I just send it to Winchester I really like your review thanks for the review 👊”by the way new subscriber”
