Pontiac G6 K&N and Hyundai ChampXL oil filters cut open

With my guest host The Wife we successfully were able to open these 2 oil filters without incident. Seriously both filters looked very good, with the K&N having 6200 km and the ChampXL with 4500 km.

Good oil I says, 2 months later, why did I use that oil after engine rebuild.😅

they are both great filters and don't show any deterioration while in service, it just shows that quality goes a long way.

Uneven spacing of the filter pletes doesn't hurt filteration in my opinion i love plastic core for better flow

The e core is great, I'm always good with better flow.
