1 Blessed are those that are unde- | filed . in the | way : and | walk . in the | law . of the | Lord.
2 Blessed are they that | keep his | testimonies : and | seek him . with their | whole | heart;
3 For | they who | do no | wicked- || ness : | walk . in his | ways.
4 Thou | hast | charged : that we shall | dili-gently | keep . thy com- | mandments.
5 O that my ways were made | so di- | rect : that | I might | keep thy | statutes!
6 So shall I | not . be con- | founded : while I have | respect . unto | all . thy com- | mandments.

These are the most beautiful combination of Chants for these verses I know. I love them all and verses 1 to 32 too.
SETTING BY ROSE BECAME MY NEW FAVORITE. I WONDER IF IT IS CUSTOMARY TO SING THIS (1-32) RATHER SLOWLY.

Perfection as I remember on my visits to evening song will never forget Barry Rose &his choir.

This is the complete psalm setting for the 24th Evening
the only thing I miss about not singing anymore.....
+Bigbearbeau I tend to associate that Edgar Day chant with Psalm 37 (7th evening). I don't know whether there are any instances of it being sung to that chant on youtube though. If anyone knows of one could they point in the right direction?
Please post as many as possible of this period at Guilford as you have available.
Most outstanding in every way. We seldom hear Anglican chant done in this style and at this flowing, meaningful tempo anymore.

I pray your "aim" never tires. My frequent visits to Cathedrals in the U.K. proves they all have sharp aims.
We have no connection with any contemporary cathedrals. This is just a sound archive from the past.
I love to listen to these Anglican Chants - my current church prefers Gregorian chanting - which lacks the harmony and beauty.
