Ahoj Michale, nechceš to udělat komplet z nerezu? Na těch pár dílečkách se cena za matroš skoro nepromítne a povrchovka je tímto vyřešená. ;-) A jako bonus navíc to nezrezaví a dokonce ani nezkoroduje. Kontramatice nahradit nějakým rychloupínačem, ať není potřeba žádné nářadí na naštelování. Nalepenou kůži vyhodit, stejně je zbytečná. Stačí zaoblit hrany na palco tlačce. Matici na upnutí brousku nahradit dlouhou rukojetí se závitem, aby závitovka byla schovaná v rukojeti a bylo to příjemné do ruky. Jako DIY projekt pro inspiraci je to super, ale do profi to chce ještě malinko vytunit. Ale to je jen můj subjektivní názor a klidně mě s tím můžeš poslat do pr... :-) Good Luck Mr. Michal ;-)
Ano, defacto s tebou v nekterych vecech souhlasím, ta rukověť je bezva řešení a i mě lezelo chvili v hlavě, jen zatím tvořím jak mi dílna dovolí. Mě by se líbilo neco ve stylu rukojetí na uhlovych bruskach. S tim nerezem zatím úplně nekamaradim, i pres jeho nesporne vyhody. Me osobne se vice libi drevena verze, tato je ale praktičtější a spise pockam kam me to povede dal. Rozhodně dekuji za podnety.

Will the steel version have the ability to sharpen scissors off the front edge like the oak version? Switching to the leather strop block was interesting. It certainly will maintain the same angle as long as it is the same thickness of the sharpening stone used. I will say I've always admired this design of knife sharpener. Using full size bench sharpening stones is quite cost effective when it comes to how long they last. If you sharpen kitchen knives and knives greater than 100mm (4 inches) in length this is certainly a great option.
This is just only for knives at the moment. I laso like to use regular size of sharpening stones.

Не точите НА ЛЕЗВИЕ никогда ! Заточка , правка , доводка режущей кромки производится ОТ ОБУХА К ЛЕЗВИЮ. Камень мочить ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО . И камень дольше прослужит и затачиваемый инструмент меньше стачивается!!!
