You have two wifi cards installed by the looks of it. Wireless ac 1550ac and realtek 8835bu (the wifi 6 stick). Should you not have the other one disabled first. Otherwise how are you sure it is using the realtek 8835bu ?
Hey there! I just watched your video about the Wi-Fi 6 adapter, and it looks like a great solution for desktops without built-in wireless capabilities. Thanks for sharing your setup and installation process; it was quite informative. I do have a question, though. You mentioned that the adapter has antennas that provide good signal penetration through multiple rooms. Could you please share some real-world experiences or examples of how well it performs in different scenarios or compared to other adapters? I'm particularly interested in understanding its range and stability. Thanks again for the video, and I appreciate your efforts in providing detailed reviews of tech products. Looking forward to your response!
I just got one that looks just like this today. It came with a separate driver in the box that plugs in and updates. As far as i know both installed successfully. I connected to my wifi, it says connected, yet when i open up internet explorer it says it can't display the webpage. If i type in google it takes me there, but when i search for something and click on a site, that error pops up again saying page cannot be displayed. When i use mozilla firefox i can't get to any site, it automatically says your connection is not secure with some lock. I'm so confused! I have an old desktop running windows vista. When ordering this from amazon it says it's compatible with windows vista. My computer has a wireless card but it's so old and when i use internet explorer to try and update, it says newer versions of the internet browser doesn't support my old version and won't let me try to download it
0:57 'looks like a CD player'... What looks like a CD player? Is the installation file hardwired on the adapter. Do you mean that a CD icon comes up, but there is no CD. It's just a CD icon but it's actually the installation file?
I have the exact same model and I bought it because it says it has hotspot capabilities but it doesn't. I have a cheaper usb wifi adapter which is plug and play (this one is not) and it is both a receiver and a hotspot if I want. This one was a waste of money for what I needed it.

What if you have an older laptop with less than windows 10? That’s why I bought this device

Rolio WiFi adapter USB - 1300Mbps 5GHz - Dual Antenne
Is it not faster to plug in Ethernet?
He is just showing what that adapter can do in case somebody can't run Ethernet cable to where their PC is at.
holy shit so helpful thank you
My laptop support 2.4 GH Wi-Fi only.
If I bought this adapter, can it activate Wi-Fi 6 ?
This adapter replaces your built-in adapter (which only supports 2,4Ghz band). So the answer should be: yes.
