I can't go back this year, and I know I'm only in high school, but almost everyone of my friends and the people I love are in Michigan. This song now has a completely different meaning for me. Because last January, I joined the Army, so for the first time, I'm far away from home and there was a chance I wouldn't be home for Christmas.
