- The moment so many have been messaging me and waiting, quite a while for. Showdown and Peacekeeper I with Dialog is here! Showdown has been extended even, for extra enjoyment! Now with Prez! This one was probably my second favorite to edit next to Kings. Sorry for the delay everyone. Read below on my updated life story if your curious about why I didn't get this out till much further than I originally promised.
Story time,
It has been a rough year for me. I had to move after a job turned for the worst against me after I got burnt being overworked, because of this my bosses retaliated on me when I asked for a break. Won't go into full detail but basically I got depressed and felt little purpose in life for a while. But now I have a much better job, new computer, and back on track as well as feeling confident in myself again. I appreciate everyone being patient for this. I know this is way beyond what I promised time frame wise but I am glad I finally have a new PC after my old one was damaged, and now get to finally work on these projects again! I appreciate all the supportive messages, comments, etc I have received. They do not go unnoticed.

I always liked that bit of symbolism. Monarchs are very well known for their migration patterns, as well as being endangered. The whole game talks about Oceana and how there aren't many skilled mercs like Monarch anymore, making him endangered. He still migrates north due to the changing seasons and climate of war.

Still love how the moment you shoot down a Peacekeeper the CIF goes from "oh shit oh shit oh shit" to "well hell, I guess they bleed as well!"
Ever heard the lines from the mission where you first meet them? If you take one of the crimson units down, everyone goes nuts
1:28 I'm so glad you captured the way the guitars start picking up as soon as we hear the "Positive contact! Look like Sicario's here!", probably my favourite moment in this mission
The one line where the guy with a bit of dread goes, “Not every king is just….” Just stays with me man
All that's missing is the Constant missile warnings. Oh, the memories of the Mercenary run.
I could hear the missile warnings and the Sk.25's canisters being fired

Tbh I'd feel the same, if it wasn't for the tungsten weight force pressed down on my lungs, and the slow loss of consiousnes while blood drained out of my brain and all that jazz. Oh crap, don't forget the threat of missiles or gunfire that will tear and blow up your aircraft, or yourself. Then yeah it would be fun

I've thought about it. We'll see. Crimson's voice I used in my original edit was lost on my old hard drive so I'll have to get them again. But I will definitely keep it in mind.

Consequence of Power/Peacekeeper II is the plan, and probably the last OST with dialog I am going to do, I feel with the rest of the missions, the dialog isn't as intense with the soundtrack, at least in my opinion. But I definitely want to do Peacekeeper II just to have one with Diplomat losing his cool on Crimson.

Consequence of Power is next. I'm kinda working with some ideas at the moment. I don't wanna release it till I know it's ready for sure. Believe it or not, but when I did Kings I tested it in my surround sound to make it sound epic, as well as my headphones. Might have to do the same for Consequence of Power :)

Damn, i forgot how dialogue dense this mission was. Could hardly hear any of it over the never ending sound of missile tones
It's just not the same without the din of combat sfx, even if it'd be quiet.
To be honest my Project Wingman instincts just make them in my head so I didn't even notice.
I felt bad for the poor bastards who joined in f-4 phantoms.

Did this vidoe come out before Jose released the peace keeper intro tracks?
At the time I didn't have the tracks, of course now I do but I haven't had time to do the edits due to work and since I also edit on the side, I've been busy working on some other projects for folks (weddings and other events).
Now add alarms and missile sfx
They aren't already in there? Or do I just hear it in my sleep now?

Do you mean the intro music for Crimson 1 before Peacekeeper I begins?
If so, yes I know and believe it or not I was trying to get it in there but for some reason I could not find the file, and getting it on its own proved to be more challenging than I thought. If I find a work around I can re edit and I think add it to this current version but we will see. I am sorry to disappoint, but it's a headache I came across that I will try to get over at some point.

I think I can edit the file via UA-cam and update it? I'm not sure. Definitely going to be a "let's plug it in and find out" scenario lol.
