Classical Guitar: Basic Techniques You Must Know!

When teaching my classical guitar students, I see the same mistakes happen again and again. In this video, I explain 4 of the most common mistakes I see; walking fingers, basic left-hand technique, counting and note reading.
Some of you may have some other ideas relating to music theory or guitar technique, but these are the 4 that I see most often. I think it's really important to master these techniques because they occur in so many pieces.
People often say that learning classical guitar is really difficult, but by mastering these basic techniques, we can make things a lot easier.

what are the uses of ring finger should I use it on scales alterations or only on arpeggios where should i use it?

Can I have nylon strings on my guitar forever without changing it?

You don't need to change them very often, but after a while they will start to lose their colour and sound, and after a very long time they will start to become quite damaged - so probably best to change them one day.

@@BortasArt It likely depends on how often you practice so while changing strings every 6 months may apply to someone else, it may not apply to you.
