im going to guess from the pic that you are in guardian to which i say; stop playing support. whenever people recommend to play support when starting the game its so you get the basics down but once u get the very basics down and you want to play ranked and actually gain mmr, you NEED to stop playing support. you only gain mmr by winning and you have 0 impact as a pos5 or 4, 3 in dota 2 in lower ranks, since you only get mmr by winning nothing you do matters, your perfect lane doesnt matter, your perfect pulls dont matter, unless you win, and in lower mmr its the blind leading the blind. Your carry has no understanding, your mid has no understanding, nor does your offlaner, Playing sup is betting your mmr on those players to do their job well, but, playing pos1 or pos2 is betting on yourself, those rolls you can carry yourself and 1v9.
Like in your lane when you kited brood back, i would have fucking screamed at the drow for even walking up to brood with me (you) when they ignored a entire free lane, her also running brood down added NOTHING, and i 100% bet her being lev2 and not using E means she took silence lev2, which makes no sense, since silencer has no burst, and prob cant even silence him in the first place bc of facet, brood most likely will take W and E (passive) which means that... she look silence lev2 to silence a silencer who cant be silenced, and to silence a passive that cannot be silenced, missing a kill bc she didnt take E) this is the type of shit when i mean the blind leading the blind.
Also general tips that can improve your lane if you still want to play support is blocking the camps so they cant pull the lane (this is a MUST.)
Always, always, always contest your creeps, deny as many creeps as you can, the theory behind it all isnt that hard but there are alot of things that change and factor what to do (as in deny all creeps, if your carry cant get the ranged creep then you take it, either with right click or a spell, your not griefing your teammate by securing the ranged creep '__if they cant even get it in the first place__'
Do not ever push the wave, what this means is stop right clicking creeps and killing them faster because the wave will push out (however your teammate def doesnt know this and will always do it *sigh*) if the wave is pushed then pull (only if your dumbass carry understands to wait, back and to stop contesting the wave - if they wont then dont pull and just stand with them)
but again even doing all this perfectly and doing your job, your drow or ur pos1 will be blind and always do dumb shit so it means nothing in the end half the time xD
also a tip for denying, join a guild, get the 20 deny creep contract and get 20 denies, push yourself and try and get as many denies in lane as you can - found that to work when i needed to learn to deny more
