@@wyliecoyote1358 I know the homeowners and have been in this home many times. Trust me when I say, very few people in Cameo Shores sit on the beach below their homes. If they want sand they can sit on the best sand in the world. They live there for the view.

As "different" as these houses (by which I mean those that have been deemed worthy of a video sales presentation, but most assuredly many others as well) strive to be, why does it seem like they've all been furnished by the same furniture-maker, all decorated by the same designer, all finished with the same Italian marble, the same horizontally-aligned cedar-planked accent walls, the same leather seating in any color you want as long as it's a variation on brown, and the same mid-century-inspired but horrifyingly overwrought Chinese-sourced LED light fixtures? Do rich white people really respond to this austerity masquerading as design? Do they eschew comfort in favor of hard clean lines; a sort of asceticism in response to the excessive ease in which they travel through life? Style as self-flagellation?
Benjamin McCormick The interior is designed with clean lines in order to not compete with the beautiful ocean views. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking.
